A herbalist by the name Isiaka Ogunkoya has been arrested by the Osun sate police command for murdering a pastor identified as Kalejaye Ezekiel for ritual purposes after he came to him seeking for spiritual powers. The 48-year-old herbalist had confessed to this after he met his Waterloo while on his way to Isoyin area of the state.

He had been caught with several human parts which he confessed belonged to the pastor who had come to him seeking magical powers. The man said: “I k#lled the pastor for rit¥als, needed to make use of a human during that period and the pastor came around. He told me he needed more spiritual powers so as to have more members to his church so | thought it was a good opportunity for me to make use of the pastor for the rit¥als I’m supposed to do that time. I gave him a s¥bstance to drink which he drank and slept off. So I b¥tch£red him and t%ok out his heart and intestines which i used to make a concoction.”

An Islamic cleric, Sheikh Yelma’e has vowed never to pray for the late actor Murphy Afolabi due to the movie roles he played when alive. According to the Islamic cleric, Islam forbids him from praying for the departed soul of popular actor, Murphy Afolabi, because all the movie roles he played while alive were roles which went against the Islamic religion.

In the video shared online, the cleric stated that the late Afolabi played movie roles like a herbalist, a fetish priest, and a wizard which are against the Islamic religion. In his words; “What we posted yesterday was that we cannot pray for (late) Murphy Afolabi because in the movies he usually acts, and particularly Yoruba movies, it has a lot of forbidden things including traditional sacrifices and it is rare for the actors not to be involved in such traditional sacrifices. “They might be acting that way with the thinking that they are joking but anything that has to do with Almighty Allah should not be joked with. Acting like an herbalist, witch, or wizard, is against Islamic teachings and Islam is against such actions. “What will make a Muslim start using what nonbelievers do to make people laugh? It is common in Yoruba, Hausa, and Igbo films, but mostly in Yoruba films. I feel it is time for religious teachers and students to start looking into these issues. “When any of these actors with a Muslim name acts like an herbalist in Yoruba movies and later dies, it becomes hypocritical for people to expect us to pray for them. As for Murphy Afolabi, I won’t pray for him, and neither will I curse him because he might not know.”

Ifasoji Ayangbesan, a 35-year-old herbalist presently in custody for allegedly killing and dismembering Oyindamola Adeyemi, a young lady, has made a confession that he purchased two human legs for the purpose of rituals for N20,000. The Ogun state police command reported Ayangbesan’s arrest last week, accusing him of offering N1 million bribe to police officials to avoid prosecution. During his presentation before the press on May 3, the herbalist refuted allegations that he was involved in the victim’s murder on January 28, 2023. He claimed to be an herbalist, not a ritualist. However, my daughter called me while I was at Ajah that the police had come to the house looking for me. “I did not offer the police any bribe. When I heard that the police were on the lookout for me, a lawyer told me to get N10 million to set myself free, but I told him I could not raise the money. He then instructed me to place the money in front of him and he took a picture, and then I was arrested. I never offered police money.”

The marriage of Pastor Joshua Ajagunigbala and his wife, Rita has been dissolved in Ekiti State following allegations of his wife’s infidelity with a herbalist.

During the hearing, he asked for the marriage to be dissolved on the grounds of adultery and for custody of their children. He revealed that they had been living together for over 22 years, without the payment of a dowry. This was his third time taking her to court on adultery charges. Mrs. Ajagunigbala admitted to having a sexual relationship with a late herbalist, claiming it was due to her husband’s lack of care. The court ruled that the marriage was illegal since no dowry was paid, allowing them to go their separate ways. He said, “Having gone through all the oral evidence presented before this Court, it was discovered that there was no legal customary marriage between parties herein and there is no marriage available between parties to dissolve”. “The Court hereby order that the parties are now free to go on their own without disturbing the peace of each other.” Pastor Ajagunigbala, the petitioner, was directed by the Court to assume complete responsibility for the well-being and schooling of the two youngest children resulting from the union, as they are still minors. “On the issue of the custody of the children, the Court can only order on the last two children of the marriage because they are yet to reach the age of majority. The first two children are free to decide under whose care they can live between the two parties because they are no longer minors.” “However, the Court order that the last two children of the association (Olarewaju and Victoria Ajagunigbala) are to be with the petitioner and the petitioner is to be responsible for their welfare and education,” the court ordered.

Popular Instagram herbalist, Ohiku Herbals has slammed Blessing CEO over a raunchy outfit that was posted on her Instagram page.

Blessing CEO shared a photo on her Instagram with the caption “date night with boo boo”. Recall that Blessing had sparked dating rumors with the late Bimbo’s husband, IVD. Social media users suggest that Blesisng’s photo was taken while on a date with the auto dealer, IVD. Ohiku Herbal, an Instagram Herbalist, however, shared a photo of Blessing on her page. Popular herbalist allegedly dies in hotel after sleeping with pastor’s wife

A popular herbalist has been reported dead after allegedly having sex with a pastor’s wife in a hotel in Ikere Ekiti, Ekiti State.

The herbalist who has been identified as Dadayomi Kehinde known popularly by many as Ejiogbe was reportedly lodged in a hotel with a woman allegedly the wife of a Shepherd of White Garment church.
Reports say after the two made out sexually, the herbalist slumped, prompting the lady to call for help from the hotel room. It was further reported that the herbalist was rushed to the hospital by hotel staff where he was pronounced dead.
Associates of the late native doctor were alleged to have attributed his death to “magun”, a local charm placed on married women by their husbands to harm lovers who sleep with them.
Some aggrieved patrons of the herbalist were said to have stormed the Shepherd White Garment church of the pastor and destroyed properties and set the church ablaze.
The woman is said to have been arrested while the deceased have been deposited in the morgue of the Ekiti State Specialist Hospital in Ikere.

The suspected herbalist was captured on camera putting the sensational singer’s picture in a black black pot filled with different natives herbs.

He was later seen pounding an unidentified black substance in a mortar.
