Nigerian singer, Idowest fumes as he criticizes his former label boss, Dammy Krane, accusing him of not being supportive of his career during their time together. This comes amidst the back-and-forth going on between Dammy Krane and Davido over alleged unpaid debt. In a post via the X platform, Dammy mentioned Idowest being hijacked from him by Davido.

Idowest “Let’s not forget @davido you took Idowest from my record label, I didn’t talk because I saw you as a brother, neither did I drag the artiste( cos I had done my part to help him). Genuinely I want to know why you don’t want to pay me for a song you tweeted that I wrote after all,” he wrote. In a viral video, Idowest expressed frustration over the lack of financial assistance and accommodation while he was signed under Dammy Krane’s label. This led him to eventually part ways with the label and sign with a new label owned by Davido at the time.

Nigerian singer Dammy Krane has suggested that fans of OBO, Davido, should start a GoFundMe to help clear his debts. He brought up this suggestion after a concerned fan suggested that instead of Burna Boy to pay blogs, he donates the money to offset Davido’s debt. Nigerian musician, Dammy Krane. Nigerian music producer, Oluseyi Akerele, also known as Shizzi, has slammed Dammy Krane over alleged debt claims against Davido. Recall that Shizzi got involved in the drama after a netizen questioned the music producer on X about his thoughts on the dispute between singers Davido and Dammy Krane, as he was the producer of the song “Izzue.”

Shizzi In a recent development, Shizzi responded to Dammy Krane’s tweet after referring to Davido as “Owe B Owe boy.” The music producer questioned Dammy Krane if he paid him for the acclaimed song. He dared him to post the dated receipts. He also noted that he didn’t come clouting and crying for help despite not being paid.

Amid this ongoing dispute, on Friday, October 27, Davido took to his social media page to address Dammy Krane and also recollect the acts of kindness he had extended to him several years ago when Dammy Krane needed help and was homeless. Earlier, Dammy Krane had posted on his social media page, recalling an incident from 13 years ago. He wrote: “who brought out this tweet factually I was the first person to call David ‘On the Beat is Davido’ when he produced “Pooner’ for me in 2010 ( 13 years ago) we was like Dbanj & Donjazzy” On October 27, Dammy Krane posted on the same social media platform, using wordplay on Davido’s nickname ‘OBO’ to say, “Owe B Owe, Owe Owe One, DAVID-Owe. Please pay me my money, I’m not begging you, it is payment for my work! You don’t have to run away.” However, not long after, Davido responded on his social media page, asserting that he never received payment for the three verses he had gifted Dammy Krane, which contributed to Dammy Krane’s career.
