The pharmacist claims that it is weird that grown adults who were born and raised in Nigeria cannot speak their native language. The man who speaks three Nigerian languages, Igbo, Hausa and Efik blamed adults who claimed they were not taught. According to him, it is a decision and most people who claim their parents did not teach them weren’t just interested in learning. In his words; “I find it really weird that adults, born and raised in Nigeria cannot speak their language. There’s no reason why you shouldn’t be able to speak your language as an adult. An adorable little boy leaves the online community gushing following a serious conversation on phone with his father using the world’s famous ‘baby language’. A video making the rounds on social media captured the conversation between two grown men, one speaking English while the other spoke inaudibly.

The father who was away from home requested to speak to the boy after he was done talking to their mother. The little boy represented his other siblings as he engegd in a serious conversation with him dad who pretended to understand every word he said. The phone conversation between the father and son has since gone viral with over a million impressions from many who cannot get enough of it. In a video that has since gone viral on the TikTok app, a lady with handle @kathyponi, recounted a distressing experience at a local nail salon, vowing never to return after being called “charcoal.” The video has sparked widespread sympathy and outrage from netizens as they condemn the disrespectful behavior displayed by the nail shop staff. In the heart-wrenching video, @kathyponi shared her ordeal during a recent visit to the nail salon. According to her, she was subjected to hurtful and derogatory remarks by the women at the shop, who mistakenly believed she couldn’t understand their language, Luganda. She recounted how they allegedly referred to her as “charcoal” using the phrase “Ono alinga amanda,” a term that deeply affected her emotionally. Despite the insult, @kathyponi mentioned that she loved the nails she received during her visit. In her words; “So I went to this nail shop today, and the women there talking about me thinking I don’t understand Luganda. Saying “Ono alinga amanda”(this one is like charcoal)”. I almost cried look at my eyes.”  However, the emotional trauma caused by the offensive comments overshadowed any positive feelings about her manicure. A white lady, Fari Ferrari, has stirred reactions following her first meeting with veteran Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie.
She shared the adorable video of their meeting on her Instagram page showing the moment the veteran actor taught her some Igbo words.

In the video, she asked Pete Edochie how to say ‘Daddy I missed you’ in Igbo and the iconic actor obliged her request.
He told her to say, “Otego kwa aka.”

The young lady made several attempts to repeat the words after Edochie and she heartily thanked him after their brief language-learning class.
