‘I am scared for my life’ – Skales says

Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, popularly known as Skales, a popular artist, has revealed that he and his family now live in constant fear. According to him, he is scared for his life as a result of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) agents breaking into his home. Recall how Skales was falsely accused by the EFCC of being a scammer after calling out the agency for breaking into his home many weeks prior. In a recent interview with the Terms & Conditions podcast, Skales emphasised that his life is no longer safe and stated that he has been receiving threats ever since his outburst against the anti-graft agency. DAILY POST recalls that Skales had weeks ago called out the EFCC for breaking into his house and wrongly accused him of being a fraudster. Speaking in the latest episode of the Terms & Conditions podcast, Skales said he has been receiving threats since his outburst against the anti-graft agency, stressing that his life is no longer safe. The ‘Shake Body’ crooner said he is still moving about freely because he is “clean.” He said his artist, who was arrested during the raid, is still in custody. He said, “The EFCC operatives that invaded my house didn’t have a search warrant. Obviously, they were illegal. “My problem with the EFCC guys is not even the fact that they are not doing what they were paid for. “They are now using the power to oppress people. They are oppressing me right now. I am scared for my life, I won’t lie to you. I’m scared but at the same time, I know I’m clean, that’s why I’m moving around.”

A 25-year-old lady who relocated from Europe has started life afresh as a vulcanizer in Edo State, Nigeria. The lady has been identified as Becky Osarume Osagie. She disclosed that she had gotten to Italy from Libya in 2015 and returned to Nigeria in 2017.

She was consequently made to agree that upon arriving in Italy, she would work to pay back to the agent £35,000 (N17 million). Sharing her story, Becky disclosed how she endured the Libya road challenges and stayed in prison for two weeks with the hope of a better life in Italy but took it upon herself to return to Nigeria as the only work presented to her there was prostitution. She then returned to Nigeria in 2017 to start life afresh and developed an interest in vulcanizing after watching a popular Nollywood actress act the role in a movie. According to Becky, she has no regrets whatsoever about returning to Nigeria.
