Patience Ozokwor was a guest on Season 3 Episode 9 of the Nollywood actress’ kitchen show, Mercy’s Menu. During the interview, she recounted the golden advice she shared with Mercy. In the video that has gone viral, the two actresses were seen having a good time while recounting some movie scenes as they prepared catfish pepper soup with unripe plantain. Patience Ozokwor remembered when she advised Mercy Johnson some years back over her indecent dressing while she was single. “Do you remember when you were younger before you got married when I told you that the photos u take today, your children will see them tomorrow and immediately the kind of lifestyle you lived”

Big Brother Naija star, Mercy Eke, has replied her colleague, CeeC and others who threw shades at her for lying about her age. Recall that the BBN star was exposed after she posted her permanent voters card online.

Despite covering her date of birth and address, a netizen used her VIN details to dig up the details of the card, exposing Mercy Eke’s real age as 32. Sharing a screenshot of the details he discovered, he said:
“You covered your date of birth and left VIN that shows everything about you. Does this make sense to you? Anyway, I’m here to inform your that I just found out that you are 32 years of age. Don’t come here 29th Sept and claim 25 years o. Have a nice day,” Mercy’s colleague, CeeC jumped on the trend, noting that she is too pretty to be 30 and is considering reducing her age. “My pretty girl era. It’s like I go reduce my age oh. 30 years no just fit me,” she wrote. Reacting to Ceec’s post, Mercy Eke said: ”I love people who throw shades behind my back, that’s exactly where they belong, behind my back.”

Her colleague, CeeC also jabbed at her and accused her of telling lies about her age. In a recent development, Mercy put out a post insisting that she is turning 30 this year and not otherwise. Using her social media page via Snapchat, she described herself as a “1993 baby”, stating that she would be turning 30 this year (2023). The reality star’s VIN number, however, was left exposed in the PVC’s snapshot which gave a user an opportunity to uncover her biodata. On the biodata of Mercy, her real age showed to be 33 according to her date of birth which was 1990 and not 1993 as she claimed. Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson has for the first time opened up about how she survived cancer and her life-changing surgery.

Mercy Johnson made this revelation in the latest episode of her Youtube cooking show where she had a special guest, Joke Silva, on for a chat. During the show, Mercy Johnson asked Joke Silver about the health of veteran actor Olu Jacobs. Following the response from Joke, Mercy shared her story of how she was put on medication for life when she was diagnosed with cancer. She said; “… Odi [her husband] and I have actually been here and I have never discussed it where we had, like uhm, a scare. I had a cancer scare in quote and I had like my thyroid removed. And it was like a journey for us because we had kids. My last was six months at that time and then we kept on saying “okay, we have to understand that this is the new us, let’s go get the surgery done”. And then we got there, they said I was going to be on medication for the rest of my life and it was a reality that we had to sit down. You know, them giving me a timing and telling me you can’t miss your medication. Once you wake up that day, that’s the first thing. Telling me all of the side effects. So I’m reconciling with this you’re saying, it’s the truth. At the point you realize this is where we are, let’s grow from here, let’s live in this comfort zone.”
