A Nigerian woman named Costel Humphry has joyfully shared her remarkable journey on social media after finally giving birth to a baby boy. After enduring 13 years of waiting and experiencing 14 heartbreaking miscarriages, she turned to Facebook on June 7, 2023, to express her gratitude and celebrate her testimony.

“God has shown me mercy after 13 years of waiting, 14 miscarriages. He blessed my family with a bouncing baby boy. Glory to God. May his name be praised”

Her husband, Humphrey Isirimah, also took to his Facebook page to share a video of their son Samuel, capturing the joyous moment. The couple’s friends and family members joined the online celebration, expressing their joy and sharing in the testimony of God’s faithfulness.

Nyime Chuma wrote: “Today, like Sarah the matriarch, Mummy Costel Humphery returned to redeem her vow to God.
She carried baby ‘Samuel’ for 5 years with varied complications, but made a vow to God that if she ever was delivered of this baby, she will return to the altar of God the same day to dedicate him to the God of Oyedepo.
Mummy Costel had had 14 miscarriages in 13 years.
This is her second child alive after 13 years!

The lady’s sister-in-law has apparently been having issues with child birth since she got married to her brother. The lady who sent a text message to her brother’s wife wondered whether she’s a witch because she has never seen someone who married a virgin facing multiple miscarriages. The text reads: “Madam, why are you not taking my calls again? Why are you so comfortable with your childless situation? You be witch? Tell me and I will leave you alone and get my brother another woman. Have you ever seen anyone who married as a virgin that faces these your ogbanje issues? You know me quite well, I will personally torment you till you confess how only you has had 9 miscarriages within 4years and you are happy. Wait for me, let me come to that Asaba.”
