Priscilla Ojo, daughter of actress Iyabo Ojo, discloses how she felt embarrassed after watching her mother on “Real Housewives of Lagos”.
Priscilla Ojo
The Real Housewives of Lagos was one of the most popular reality series on Showmax which caused chaos on social media.
During an interview with Stephanie Coker on her “Me, Her & Everything Else” podcast, Priscilla Ojo disclosed that she felt bad when her mother fought dirty on live Television.
She said;
“Yeah! I think it was when she got into a fight and then she was like [shouting], I’m already used to that but I was like mummy, don’t let people see this. Oh my goodness. Because when she gets angry, you’ll think she literally hates you but like that’s how she expresses herself. So I’m like mum, this is a family thing, don’t take it out there. So when it was out there, I was like “oh my god”. But then, you know, everybody has their own.
“You know that whole thing that happened between Baba Ijesha and all that, I spoke to my mother, I said “mum, don’t go live”. She said “oh it’s fine”. When I left, she locked the room. I was like “mum!” I was calling her, she’s like “don’t call me”, she blocked my number. Cuz me I’m the calm type, I don’t like social media drama so I was like mum, don’t do this. But I feel like she was fighting for the right cause.”

“Motherhood is lonely, always think of yourself as a single mom” – Bashir El-Rufai’s wife advises

Nwakaego, wife of Bashir El-Rufai, the son of the Kaduna State Governor, has revealed that motherhood is lonely. She advised nursing mothers to see themselves as single mothers.

Nwakaego

Nwakaego
The mother of twin boys, made this known during a question-and-answer session on her Instagram page.
A follower had asked her the reason why some men are not dutiful at home rather they leave the chores to their wives.
In her reply, Nwakaego advised nursing mothers to see themselves as single mothers. By doing this, a nursing mother won’t expect her husband to be dutiful at home and will not be disappointed by whatever he does.
Her words,
“Always think of yourself as a single mother, that way you expect nothing from anyone and never get disappointed. You do your part and that’s the most important thing. Stop looking at what others aren’t doing for your children. Ask for help instead of assuming people will offer”, she wrote.

Read the narration below …
“Please house, I want everyone to be truthful. What will you do if you are in my shoes? I’m planning my wedding to my fiancée and everyone in my family loves her so much. I’m the only son. My two elder sister’s are married and in USA.
Recently my girl started acting funny and I asked her. It took her time before she opened up that my mum is a witch. She has been having bad dreams about my mum.
This is a women that buys her clothes, make up etc. my girl ties my mum’s wrapper and my mum never complain. She’s d happiest that I’m getting married because she’s been begging me to marry. I told my girl to close that chapter. That I don’t believe in witches. This discussion was done about two weeks ago. Just this afternoon.
My sisters called my line off. I don’t go to work with phone for security reasons. I came out and saw 249 miss calls. I called them back and they told me to take d next available flight and go and meet my mum.
My girl actually went to her house with her mum and started shouting witch. Telling her to stay off her life. People gathered and where mocking my mum. They nearly beat her. If not that the Neighbours intervened. I called my girl and she said my mum deserve what she got.
That if not for me, she would have done worst. I’m angry. My sister are boiling with anger. I’m d one calming them down. They want to deal with my girl and her mum legally. Please house. How best to handle this. Post anonymous”
