Napoli are set to intensify it January transfer plans, with an eye on Arsenal’s Jakub Kiwior, who has also caught the attention of Milan. The 23-year-old Polish center-back who made a move to the Premier League from Spezia for around €25m in January, has found limited playing time under Mikel Arteta. Despite his promising talent and potential, Kiwior has spent most of the season as a backup option. Napoli, in search of defensive reinforcements, see an opportunity to secure his services in the upcoming transfer window.

According to reports from Il Mattino via TMW, Napoli are willing to make a substantial offer of €25m for the player, but Arsenal are not open for a loan deal. However, due to the competition that might ensue, Napoli have an alternative in mind, considering Aston Villa’s Clement Lenglet as an option. The French defender who is currently on loan in the Premier League, could make a switch to Serie A to seek more playing time.

We wish him a warm welcome and the best of luck!” With names like Luis Enrique, Julian Nagelsmann, and Gian Piero Gasperini linked with the job, Garcia’s appointment is likely to be viewed as underwhelming by Napoli fans coming off the high of their first Serie A title in 30 years.

De Laurentiis, on the other hand, has made it clear that he has no intention of parting ways with the 24-year-old unless it is on his terms. Napoli is set for an important new season where they will have to ensure that they are able to build on their success this season. And more importantly, maintain the free-flowing attacking style of play that they have been associated with this past season. The Frenchman has notably used a 4-2-3-1 formation on most occasions, Napoli fans will be looking forward to his strategies and tactics as they hope for continued success under his leadership.

The Napoli Central defender has only been in Italy for one season having joined from Fenerbahce last summer for €18m. According to Il Mattino, a deal with Manchester United has been “accepted” for Kim Min-jae and will be completed on July 1. The defender is already being considered “a former player”. The player has also ‘accepted’ the Reds’ offer in terms of wages. Min-jae is set to pocket £9m a year at the Theatre of Dreams, which works out at around £175,000-a-week. Again, this feels like Kim is arguably United’s top priority signing this summer. There are still doubts about Harry Maguire’s future at the club, with the man from South Korea a definite upgrade on the Reds’ current club captain. His arrival at Old Trafford could spell the end for Harry Maguire. Maguire has been used in a bit-part role under boss Erik ten Hag who has settled on Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez as his first-choice defensive pairing.
