A trending video has shown the heartwarming moment a young boy surprised his girlfriend with expensive gifts on her birthday. The gifts included teddy bears, money bouquet, iPhone 14, cake and several wigs of different colours.

Nigerian mum shares video of food her toddlers consumed in just 10 months
A Nigerian mother of two has shared a video revealing all the food her twin babies ate within only 10 months. The video showed empty cans of baby cereal, custard, pampers and other baby food.
She claimed that despite the quantity of the items in her video, she had already discarded some of them. She captioned the video:

Veteran Nollywood actor Pete Edochie has lamented over being a citizen of Nigeria as he describes it as a full-time job.
The legendary actor, Pete Edochie who celebrated his 76th birthday yesterday has taken to his page to share some observations he has made during the time of elections and the aftermath. According to the actor Pete Edochie, being a Nigerian comes with an inherent perpetual anxiety adding that it’s a full-time’s job to be a citizen of Nigeria. A frustrated Nigerian lady has shared her sad ordeal following her first meeting with her boyfriend whom she met online. She had decided not to travel for the holidays because her online boyfriend was coming to see her, but she ended up regretting the meeting. She noted that the boy bought her a rubber wristwatch without a fancy bag. She also pointed out that he looked like he didn’t have money as he didn’t buy cornflakes or golden morn for her. Nigerian man strangles pregnant wife to death 1 year after marriage
A Nigerian man has been arrested for allegedly strangling his pregnant wife to death in Otolo, Nnewi South LGA of Anambra State. The suspect, identified as Ikechukwu Obiora, reportedly attacked and killed his wife, Mrs Ebere Obiora, on Thursday, March 2, 2025, after she delayed in opening the gate for him.
The couple got married in August 2022 and were expecting their first child before the incident happened. According to reports, Ikechukwu admitted to the crime, saying: “I returned home in the morning of March 2, 2025, and was knocking at the gate, but my wife did not open it immediately. In that anger, i started shouting at her. I first [email protected] and hit her from the gate to the house before angrily [email protected] her on the neck and [email protected] her to d£ath.
I couldn’t believe what happened because i never expected that such actions would lead to her d&ath. I eventually abandoned the corpse and left out of fear and confusion, after confiding in few persons who i sought advice on what to do. It was later in the evening that my mother reached out to my wife’s family members.”

“Stop demonising Nigeria” — Nigerian says after struggle to get doctor in UK for 48 hours
UK-based Nigerian educationist, Dipo Awojide warns against demonising Nigeria while narrating his experience of waiting for up to 48 hours to get a doctor in the UK.
The media personality took to Twitter to address his reasons for being mute during the 2023 elections which many expected input from him. Clarifying his silence, Dipo Awojide revealed that he was sick and struggled to get a doctor to attend to his health needs in the UK. While discouraging demonising Nigeria, he wrote in a tweet; “Was sick after my birthday dinner. Fell down in the toilet because I was so weak. I banged my nose and passed out. Had to be revived. This picture was taken 10 days after. Twitter mob was waiting for me to comment on Nigerian politics. While I was fighting for my health 😂😂. “I couldn’t see a GP in 48 hours. I would have been able to see a Doctor in Nigeria within 12 hours. Stop demonising Nigeria 🇳🇬. Things can be better in Nigeria 🇳🇬 but we are dealing with a lot in the UK 🇬🇧 as well 😉,” he added.
