A video making the rounds on social media captured the moment a police officer assaulted some passengers of a bus in broad daylight. According to the narration of a passenger, the men of the police took one of them to the ATM to empty his bank account. Following their return, another was assaulted for rebelling against an officer who pointed a gun at him. The policemen reportedly threatened to shoot sporadically if provoked by the passengers. One of the officers was identified as Ogbu Godwin with his name tag. Watch the video below …

The Nigerian Police Force has confirmed that the three cops who were assaulting a man in Port Harcourt have been identified and arrested.

CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the police public relations officer made this known on Twitter while reacting to a tweet of the assault. A Twitter user had shared a clip which captured the moment the officers were assaulting the man who was said to be on his way to church on Easter day.

The tweep had written: “A family man being assaulted in front of his wife by police, this is sad @policeNg.” CSP Adejobi said: “These men have been arrested, and their commander will personally bring them to the Force Headquarters tomorrow Tuesday for further actions. They are three in number, attached to RRS, Rivers State. “Their action does not portray the police in a good light at all.”

CSP Adejobi, the spokesperson of the Nigerian police force, has responded to a video that has been circulating online, depicting police officers assaulting a man in Port Harcourt.

The video shows a police officer assaulting a man with a stick and later slapping him before forcing him into a vehicle parked within the premises. In his response to the video, the Police spokesperson expressed his disappointment and stated that he had instructed the Rivers State command to identify and bring to justice the officers involved in the harassment.

It was gathered from reports online that the incident occured at Enerhen police station in Warri on Friday March 10, 2023. The police officers had allegedly arrested a member of the Nigerian Navy and a newly commissioned naval officer and his team stormed the station to descend on them. The fracas had escalated, causing an unrest in the community as some shots rang out which led to shop owners and residents fleeing for dear life. A video which has gone viral on social media captured moment a big man was asked to leave his Banana Island home for supposedly failing to pay rent.


Tens of security operatives stormed the man’s house to evict him, but found no one home. They decided to make their way upstairs when they were accosted by the occupant who vehemently refused to leave; rather, he demanded that they leave his home.

Although the Security men paid no heed to the occupant as they ordered their boys to evict him.

The man refused to vacate the mansion without a fight as he insisted they cannot remove him from his home and demanded that they leave his house.

Some days ago, a customer who was impressed by the dance of the security officers at a popular restaurant shared the video on social media on how heartwarming their dance was.
Unfortunately, both dancers have been fired for being unprofessional at their duty posts.


“Whoever posted that video is a fool… now that you’ve gotten them sacked for a few likes and RTs I hope you can sleep well at night. A fucken idiot,” a concerned social media user wrote.
