Victor Osimhen is reportedly unhappy with the recent statements made by Aurelio De Laurentiis regarding his contract renewal. Football Italia reported that De Laurentiis, Napoli’s president in a recent interview, suggested that Osimhen has made up his mind about staying at the Naples club after initially agreeing to terms for a new contract.

With less than two years left on his current contract with Napoli, the chances of a new deal continues to look bleak, especially after the Nigerian star forward was subject to a ridicule on the club’s official TikTok page. Osimhen and his agent, Roberto Calenda, are said to be unpleased with De Laurentiis’ recent comments, and talks for the said contract extension has stalled, as no date has been fixed to continue negotiations.
