A young South African lady, Siphelele inspires many youths as she achieves a successful transition from being a classroom teacher to pig farming. Siphelele Siyaya, a 28-year-old woman who hailed from KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, has defied expectations as she shares the struggle of chasing her dreams in pig farming.

Inspired by her grandmother’s affection for pigs and motivated by a desire to generate employment opportunities within her community, the former teacher established Madlikivane Piggery. Siphelele’s remarkable journey has resonated with numerous individuals, garnering praise and support from social media users. In her words; “My name is Siphelele “Titi” Siyaya, and I’m 28 years old. I’m a pig farmer 🐖👩🏾‍🌾 and the founder of Madlikivane Piggery🐖🐖, from KwaNongoma in KZN.
When I started working as a teacher, I saved money to buy land for my pig farm. What motivated me to venture into pig farming is the love I have for pigs❤️🐖🐖, which my maternal grandmother instilled in me when I was younger.

I also wanted to create job opportunities in my community🔥.
What I can say to young people who are passionate about farming is to make sure they do research 📕on what they would like to venture into, visit as many farms as they possibly can, and engage with other farmers🧑🏿‍🌾👩🏾‍🌾.

It will get tough, and there will be challenges along the way🥹, but that won’t mean you should give up. Also, I want to urge other farmers to be open to sharing their experiences with aspiring farmers🫶🏽; this really helped me when I started my pig farming journey.

This is coming after UEFA imposed some penalties on Roma, which include a four-match suspension for Mourinho due to his behaviour towards referee Anthony Taylor after the Europa League final.

And as the war between the Roma boss and UEFA escalates, Jose Mourinho has opted to pull out from his membership on the body’s football board. In a letter addressed to UEFA’s chief of football Zvonimir Boban, Mourinho stated that he felt obligated to step down. The letter read;

I kindly ask that you also communicate my decision to the President Mr. Aleksander Ceferin.” The UEFA football board is formed of coaches and players both past and present. Their aim is to tackle issues around the laws of the game, refereeing, and the football calendar, with meetings set to take place once a year. It was the brainchild of Boban and former referee Roberto Rosetti, but Mourinho appears to be continuing his feud with the governing body. The likes of Carlo Ancelotti and Paolo Maldini are also on the board, with UEFA hailing its creation back in April.

A young man has disclosed that a fresher from NYSC has quit her job after she got caught up in Lagos traffic for 8 hours. According to the Twitter user who shared the story, the NYSC staff who lived with a relative in Ibafo left home as early as 5:45am in order to beat the traffic however, the lady was caught up in the traffic and arrived at the office around 2pm.

He disclosed that the lady rushed to the canteen to eat then later typed her resignation letter and packed her stuff and went home. Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk ‘is off’ again as Ukrainian quits training camp

Talks over Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk’s unification super-fight has broken down again, with the Ukrainian fighter’s manager blaming the ‘Gypsy King’. The two fighters’ camps have been locked in talks and social media taunting to agree a deal to crown the heavyweight division’s first undisputed champion since Lennox Lewis in 2000. Usyk, the IBF, WBO and WBA champion, even agreed to Fury’s 70-30 split in the Brit’s favour and a date at Wembley for April 29 was provisionally set but, according to reports, “other material terms critical to the deal beyond the split” could not be agreed upon. After months of negotiations, provisions for an April 29 bout at London’s Wembley Stadium have collapsed, with the Ukrainian’s team confirming he has left his training camp. Egis Klimas, the manager of the WBA, IBF, and WBO heavyweight champion told ESPN that despite his client publicly agreeing to a 70-30 split, Fury continued making demands: “No matter how much Usyk compromised, he was pushed for more,” he said.

Another British fighter in Daniel Dubois is next in line to fight Usyk should they be unable to revive the Fury fight. The 25-year-old Londoner won the WBA ‘regular’ title last summer after knocking out Trevor Bryan and defended the belt before Christmas. The WBA officially ordered Usyk to defend his title against Dubois in December but at that stage, it looked unlikely that ruling would affect plans for the undisputed clash against Fury. The WBA have since set a new deadline for 1 April for Fury vs Usyk to be made, with mandatory challenger Dubois waiting in the wings. Usyk’s promoter, Alexander Krassyuk, who has held major doubts over the fight going ahead in recent weeks, has welcomed talk of a fight against Dubois in England.
