Billionaires on mission to view ruins of titanic ship reported dead
The Titanic submersible that was reported missing for days reportedly suffered a catastrophic loss of pressure that imploded the vessel, killing all five passengers onboard. The sad news was confirmed by the Coast Guard said Thursday. Coast Guard Rear Adm. John Mauger said a remotely operated vehicle (ROV) had discovered a portion of the Titan roughly 1,600 feet from the bow of the Titanic wreck on the sea floor. Five different major pieces of debris from the submersible, known as the “Titan,” were found in the area, and each end of the pressure hull was found in a different place, according to Paul Hankins, US Navy Director of Salvage Operations and Ocean Engineering. “This is an incredibly unforgiving environment down there on the sea floor and the debris is consistent with a catastrophic implosion of the vessel. Upon this determination we immediately notified the families. “I can only imagine what this has been like for them and I hope that this discovery provides some solace during this difficult time,” Mauger, the First Coast Guard District commander, told reporters. Minutes before the news conference, OceanGate Expeditions, the company that operated the deep-sea submersible, issued a statement grieving the five men on board. It is reported that guests who wish to travel to see the wreckage pay as much as $250,000 per individual.
“A Northern Nigerian would’ve reported at mosque not police station” — Reno Omokri
Controversial Political activist, Reno Omokri weighs in on the sentencing of Ike Ekweremadu and his wife while stating a different scenario if the child involved was a Northern Nigerian. This comes following the incarceration of Ekweremadu and his wife, Beatrice over multiple charges involving attempted organ harvesting. According to Reno Omokri, his experience in Northern Nigeria taught him that Ike’s predicament would’ve been settled quietly without the involvement of the police.
Reno Omokri on how Ekweremadu’s case would’ve been settled ‘quietly’ in Northern Nigeria “If a Northern Nigerian Muslim had been brought to London by a desperate Northern Nigerian Muslim seeking to save his daughter’s life, and the intended donor changed his mind, he would most likely have headed over to the nearest mosque, rather than the nearest police station. Even in disagreement, my experience in Northern Nigeria taught me that they would rather use Islam for resolution than use other means. And that is one thing I will forever admire about Northern Nigerian Muslims. The fact that they tend to cover their own in good and bad times. No matter what the world says about their own, they will cuddle him or her publicly, and any rebuke would be done in private. That lifestyle builds unity, and unity brings power! I do not support what Ike Ekweremadu and his wife did. But I empathise with them. May God never permit me to be in the same position. I do not know what I would do in such circumstances. May the Almighty provide relief to the Ekweremadus. In Yeshua’s Name.”
