A young Nigerian lady who desperately needed N20K gets a shocking response from her mother after pranking her with claims of being kidnapped. A video making the rounds on social media captured the exchange between a mother and a daughter who seemed to be used to each other’s games.

The lady had reached out to her parent via a voice note on WhatsApp, alleging that she had been kidnapped and her abductors demanded a ransom of N20K for her release. Unfortunately, her mother replied with a voice note urging her daughter to learn the craft of her kidnappers “No wahala, just stay with them. Tell them make them teach you the work so you go bring another person take bail for yourself. Wahala no go dey,” she stated. Watch the video below …

Flavour’s response to lady concerned about Igbo men’s fashion

Nigerian singer, Chinedu Izuchukwu Okoli popularly known as Flavour, has responded to a lady’s concerns about the dressing style of Igbo men. The lady expressed her desire to fall in love with an Igbo man but admitted being worried about the way some of them dress.

The incident arose after the renowned singer shared a video of himself on the social media platform. In the video, Flavour was seen donning an armless black shirt with a plunging neckline, coupled with a red see-through pant and black shoes. To maintain modesty, he wore black underwear to cover his privates inside the red pant. Reacting to the video, the concerned lady expressed her apprehension about the dressing style of some Igbo men. She wrote; “I want to fall in love with an Igbo man but I’m so scared that one day he can just come out of the room dressed like this and he’d be so serious.” Flavour, known for his charm and charisma, promptly responded to the lady’s comments. Singer Iyanya has come out to say that he is now ready to share his own side of the story after being accused of cheating by Yvonne Nelson. Recall that a few days ago, Yvonne Nelson caused chaos on social media with his newly launched book titled “I am not Yvonne Nelson” where he mentioned names of some public figures she has been involved with.

Uche Ebere tackles Tacha over response to troll regarding her age

Nollywood actress, Uche Ebere, has addressed reality TV star, Tacha regarding her response to a troll who questioned her age.

The TV star had posted on social media, referring to herself as a “23-year-old baddie.” However, a user with the handle @MrVistogi replied with a derogatory comment, saying, “We know what 23-year-olds look like in Nigeria. Stop clowning.”

In response to the comment, Tacha wrote, “You wish your mom was this sweet in her 20s!!! A photographer has shared the nasty comment he received from a potential client, who asked for his photo shoot rate.

A potential client had contacted the Photographer for his services. He revealed the amount he charges but their reaction shocked him. The client said they would rather use their Samsung phone, than pay such an amount. This prompted the Photographer to share a tweet, where he admonished his future clients to tone down insulting responses. “I don’t do this but I think it’s important to post this convo here. Nollywood actress Ini Edo has disclosed what she tells people who describe popular movie Shanty Twon as ‘all nonsense and no lesson’.

Nigerian popular Netflix series Shanty Town has been trending for days after the movie premiered on Netflix a few days ago. While some people have praised the producers and cast for executing their roles perfectly, others have trashed the importance of the movie. Ini Edo, a producer of the movie has disclosed how the script was written and some lessons to be picked from the movie. Revealing her inspiration for the script and movie, Ini Edo stated that she was inspired to tell Nollywood stories, Nigerian stories, in the way she thought they should be told. Speaking about her response to people who described the movie as a movie without any lesson, Ini Edo stated; “Why this script? Why this script is just that we realized that there is a need to tell this story. It was something happening in society whereby nobody was talking about. About women, the slave trade, and the kind of businesses that go on behind the scenes. Prostitution is really big all over the world. But whereby people in authority are thriving off of this industry. One of the things that we needed to bring to light. The fact that women had a lot to do with women, and with kids. And how much more they should be protected and what they are actually going through. And the fact that there is a part of this world that some of us don’t get to experience. But it is actually happening. So I needed people who are sitting up there who are probably unaware that some things like this are going on in our society to know that we need to fix it.”

A lady identified on Twitter by her handle as @_abby_y has shared the reply she got from the popular singer, Douglas Jack Agu, better known as Runtown following his silence both on social media and the music industry.
Runtown has noticeably been off social media since last year. The last post he made on his Instagram page was in November 2021, on his Twitter handle, his last tweet was also since last year although he made his first post of the year on 5th June over the gunmen’s attack on the Catholic church at Owo Local Government Area, Ondo State.
