Achraf Hakimi’s ex-wife, Hiba Abouk breaks silence amidst divorce saga

Following her divorce from Paris Saint-Germain defender Achraf Hakimi, his ex-wife Hiba Abouk breaks silence following their rocky divorce.

Abouk stated that despite the rape charges against Hakimi, she was at peace with the situation but needed time to come to terms with the shock. She also revealed that the couple had been going through a divorce since Hakimi’s accusation of rape in February. Speaking to ELLE, Hakimi’s ex-wife said, “I am fine. There are days when it is like this, and others in which you’ve to know how to take blows and make decisions, sometimes complicated, and get used to new situations.”

Hiba Abouk added, “Who would’ve imagined that in addition to facing the usual pain that a separation entails and accepting the grief that the failure of a family project to which I had given myself body and soul entails, I would’ve to face this ignominy? I needed time to digest this shock. When you separate, you restructure your life, but it’s not anything special either: you’ve to take iron out of the matter. It’s true that, with two children, it is emotionally complicated, but I’m not the first and I will not be the last. The important thing is that I have the peace of mind of having tried and having done everything I had to do. There are decisions that cannot be made overnight. For me it’s a premise not to rush in moments of crisis.” On the other hand, it has been alleged that resolving the settlement may pose difficulties since Hakimi has reportedly listed a significant portion of his riches under his mother’s name. Abouk and Hakimi are parents to two children, Amín and Naim, aged 3 and 1 respectively. The couple tied the knot in 2020, after getting acquainted in 2018.

Saga makes u-turn, reveals engagement video wasn’t a skit

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Adeoluwa Okusaga, popularly known as Saga, has recently refuted rumors that his engagement to his colleague, Nini, was a skit.

It is worth noting that, in a recent interview with Naija FM, Saga had clarified that the video that had been circulating online was an old clip from last year, during a skit that he and Nini had been filming. He mentioned that he had no knowledge of how the video had been leaked.

However, in a more recent interview, Saga has put to rest all rumors regarding his engagement being a skit, and added that he is not so idle as to randomly decide to propose to someone. He also requested his fans to grant him and Nini their privacy and to respect it. Watch the video below:

Ex big brother Naija housemate and Reality tv star, Saga has recently addressed rumors surrounding his engagement to his colleague, Nini.

In an interview with Naija fm, Saga revealed that the video that had circulated online was an old clip from last year, during a skit that he and Nini had been filming. He clarified that he had no knowledge of how the video had leaked and expressed his disappointment in the way it had been cropped to only show the engagement scene.

Bella Nwoko, the lady who had threatened to accuse a man, Richard Osita, of raape has shared her side of the story after he demanded that the police arrest her. You may recall that Richard had taken to social media to raise alarm after Bella threatened on different occasions to accuse him of rape. He had called for the arrest and when it began raising a lot of controversies online, the police finally became involved after some netizens began bemoaning the double standard. Bella who hadn’t shared her own side of the story has decided to open up in a lengthy exposé. According to Bella, she reconnected with Richard in 2021 when she came across a video of him on social media. At the time, her mum was sick so she told him about it and Richard helped her out with 30,000 naira.

She said that when she moved back to Lagos same 2021,(at the time she was 17 years, and Richard, 21) Richard was always asking her to come to his place, and his request became too frequent and persistent that, according to her, she jokingly asked him if his intention was to raape her because of how he was always asking her to his house. Bella said that Richard had found her naive remark offensive and warned her never to joke with the sensitive word again. She revealed that she had apologized, he accepted but still went on to block her and they never really spoke much again since then until March 2023. They reconnected in 2023 and he began with his previous request, when she didn’t come to his place, he began acting up, cussing her and her family and demanding a refund of the 30K he had sent in 2021. Bella said that he began posting various things on his status about her and said that the only way he’d forgive her for trying to ‘accuse’ him of raape in 2021 was if she made an apology video. Reality star, Saga has spoken about his relationship with Nini when they were in Big Brother’s house and how he was tagged a mumu.

Recall that Saga was dragged by social media users when they were still in Big Brother’s house when he kept following Nini wherever she went. Little did the public know that the love between the two would move to another level. In an interview with media personality Chude, Saga addressed the relationship between himself and Nini. According to Saga, he was closer to Nini because, he is naturally an emotional human being and didn’t see his closeness to Nini as something strange. “It’s not like I committed any crime. I followed one woman, as it should be”, Saga said. While speaking further about people’s impression about him because of how close he was to Nini, he admitted that he is to blame to a certain extent as he recalled how he shed tears in front of the camera when Nini was nowhere to be found when he could have just cried under the sheets where no one would see him.
