Mbappe scores twice, provides an assist in first game as Captain

PSG star, Kylian Mbappe had quite a successful outing in his first match as France’s captain. The French team got a 4-0 win over the Netherlands on Friday night, to make a flying start to their UEFA EURO 2024 qualification campaign. Antoine Griezmann scored the opener with a left-footed strike that came off an Mbappe pass just two minutes into the game. Near the end of the match, the Netherlands’ experienced forward Memphis Depay missed a penalty, giving the Dutch a frustrating result. France will visit Ireland in Dublin on Monday, March 27, while the Netherlands will host Gibraltar in Rotterdam.

Gov. Akeredolu reacts as unknown gunmen invade a church in Ondo; kill scores of worshippers [Video]

Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State has cut short his national assignment in Abuja to visit the Owo community in his state where unconfirmed number of persons were on Sunday, June 5, brutally murdered by unknown gunmen in a church.
Although, details of the unfortunate incident are still sketchy, it was gathered that the attack occurred during a service at st. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Owo.

A video showing several persons lying in a pool of blood inside the church has continued to make waves.

OnTwitter, the governor wrote: “I am deeply saddened by the unprovoked attack and killing of innocent people of Owo, worshiping at the St. Francis Catholic Church, Today.
The vile & satanic attack is a calculated assault on the peace-loving people of Owo Kingdom who have enjoyed relative peace over the years.
It is a black Sunday in Owo. Our hearts are heavy. Our peace and tranquility have been attacked by the enemies of the people. This is a personal loss, an attack on our dear state.
I have spoken to the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Ondo, Most Reverend Jude Arogundade, who is presently on his way to Owo. Similarly, I have had to cut short my party’s national assignment in Abuja and visit Owo immediately.
This is an unexpected development. I am shocked to say the least. Nevertheless, We shall commit every available resource to hunt down these assailants and make them pay. We shall never bow to the machinations of heartless elements in our resolves to rid our state of criminals.
I commiserate with my people in Owo, particularly families of the those who lost their lives to this ugly and unfortunate attack.
I extend my condolences to Olowo of Owo, Oba Gbadegesin Ogunoye as well as the Catholic Church.
I urge our people to remain calm and vigilant. Do not take laws into your hands. I have spoken to the heads of the security agencies. I have equally been assured that security operatives would be deployed to monitor and restore normalcy to Owo kingdom.”

In the photo which she shared by her sister, she scored an aggregate of 328 over 400 in the four exams.
