Lamidi Apapa, the factional leader of the Labour Party was spotted in court today, May 17, with some members of his faction fighting over seats reserved for members of the party at the Presidential Election Petition Court in Abuja. This is coming days after a Federal High Court in Abuja ruled in his favour as the acting national chairman of the party pending the determination of the party’s leadership lawsuit. 
Lamidi was first spotted sitting outside the courtroom early this morning with some members of his entourage. Eyewitnesses revealed Lamidi directed his anger mainly at the Director General of Peter Obi’s presidential campaign council, Akin Osuntokun, for sitting at a spot he claimed was reserved for him and other members of his faction.
