Result document shows Banky W didn’t win the Lagos PDP House of Reps ticket
In what seems to be an unfavorable twist for the music executive, Olubankole Wellington, better known as Banky W, a document that shows he didn’t win the PDP House of Reps ticket has emerged.
Recall that Banky W who is vying for the Eti-Osa Federal Constituency seat was declared the winner after the party’s primary election on 23rd May.
However, in a recent development, a result document dated 24th May, that shows that the singer actually lost has surfaced.
In the document, Banky W had only 7 votes while one Mr. Aiboni Sam had 23 votes.

Activist, Deji Adeyanju while sharing the document on Twitter, slammed the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP for the initial plot.
He wrote:

Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels has hailed her hubby, Ned Nwoko while disclosing what he did for his staff after winning the PDP Senatorial ticket in Delta State.
Ned Nwoko who is seeking to represent Delta North Senatorial District under the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the Senate House inched closer to his dream yesterday, 23 May after he won the party’s ticket.
Regina Daniels who took to social media to share their moments of celebration revealed that he gave over 100 of his staff N100k each.
“Hubby is so grateful and happy, he just gave more than 100 of his staff 100K each,” the actress wrote.

Davido reacts as Banky W wins Lagos PDP House of Reps ticket
Afrobeat star, David Adeleke, better known as Davido has reacted after the music executive, Olubankole Wellington alias Banky W won the ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to contest for the House of Representatives, Eti-Osa Federal Constituency seat in the 2023 elections.
OBO who seemingly has an interest in politics congratulated Banky W over the win while stating that he has his support.
The crooner also seized the opportunity to advise people to stop complaining about the situation of things in the country and take the bull by the horn instead.
He wrote:
“Congrats @bankywellington BankyW! You have my support! Don’t sit at home and complain get up and make a change”

Banky W wins Lagos PDP House of Representatives ticket
Music entrepreneur, Olubankole Wellington a.k.a Banky W, has won the ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to contest for the House of Representatives, Eti-Osa Federal Constituency seat in the 2023 elections.
He accumulated 28 votes which put him on top of the list of the many contenders who were jostling for the same ticket.
This will be his second attempt at winning a ticket to contest as member of the green chamber.
In the 2019 elections, Wellington contested the House of Representatives seat under the Modern Democratic Party (MDP), but lost to Ibrahim Obanikoro of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a video that has now gone viral, the votes of the primaries were counted and closely monitored by the delegates and members of the party.
