Famous comedienne, Warri Pikin responds to the concerns of her friend and actress, Lilian Afegbai who called her out over aso ebi issue. Lilian had taken to Instagram to rant on how she doesn’t have a boyfriend, yet being pressured by her friend who was getting her second marriage.

Responding to the rant, the comedienne humorously addressed her friend’s concerns while questioning her intention of attending her dream wedding with a mediocre outfit.

Nollywood actress Lilian Afegbai calls out comedian and actress Anita Asuoha, popularly known as Warri Pikin, regarding the issue of her upcoming wedding’s aso ebi (traditional attire). It would be recalled Warri Pikin’s husband re-engaged her with a diamond ring after which she had a bridal shower and unveiled the date of her wedding.

Taking to her Instagram page, she shared a video recounting how Anita publicly called her out for not purchasing the aso ebi. According to Lilian Afegbai, Anita informed her about the event and sent her a message to purchase the traditional attire. However, she couldn’t afford it and didn’t make the payment for several months.

Furthermore, Lilian revealed that Warri Pikin had tagged her in a video, trying to address the situation, but she chose to ignore it. Anita, however, brought up the issue again, which left Lilian feeling hurt and pressured. Lilian expressed her dismay, emphasizing that Warri Pikin knew she was not in a relationship and yet still insisted on taking the little money she had managed to save. In her words; “Anita don marry Ikechukwu since; me now, I never see successful boyfriend not to talk of marriage. Anita send me message put aso ebi figure. All I have now I am managing it; you, you have two marriages. Wetin you really want from me? You cannot marry once, marry twice and you’re still taking my own things. Olu Of Warri names new Ologbotsere, strips Ayiri of title

The Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, stripped billionaire businessman Ayiri Emami of his title as Ologbotsere of the kingdom after meeting with him.

On Sunday, 16th of April 2023, the Olu conferred the Ologbotsere title on Chief Eyuoma. Ayiri had opposed Olu’s coronation in August 2021, leading to his disrobing and exclusion from the palace. The Olu had recently initiated peace talks with Ayiri through the efforts of Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor and others. On April 14, the King met with Ayiri and then convened a meeting on Sunday to address the issue. Ayiri apologized and begged for forgiveness, which the Olu granted.

The Olu offered Ayiri his father’s title, Ayeku of Warri, but Ayiri refused it and left the palace. The Olu then installed Chief Oma Eyewuoma as the new Ologbotsere of the kingdom, thanking Ayiri for his contributions and asking him to leave the palace.

Anita Asuoha, popularly known as Real Warri Pikin, and her husband Ikechukwu Asuoha have announced their plan to have their dream wedding, 10-years after their initial marriage ceremony.

It would be recalled that the couple sometime last year had their dream engagement event where the comedienne was proposed to by her husband. In a recent Instagram post, Real Warri Pikin expressed her dissatisfaction with their first wedding while citing financial constraints as the reason.

However, to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary, the couple has decided to renew their vows and host their dream wedding on June 10. “#ANIIKE2023 We are thrilled to announce that we will be having our Dream wedding – the one that we have always wanted and wished for! The mother of one who recently welcomed her child is seen in a video shared via her Instagram page where she ran out of evaporated milk and decided to take breastmilk. Kiekie proceeded to use a breast pump to extract milk from her areola and transferred it into a feeding bottle for her personal consumption.

Man demands N200 as gate fee at filling station in Warri

Nigerians at a filling station expressed deep rage after they were prohibited from entering without paying a gate fee. The nation appears to be facing an unprecedented challenge as scarcity of fuel and shortage of money continues to take a toll on citizens.

Customers who had gone to a filling station to get some fuel were apparently stopped by a ‘gate man’ who demanded that they pay before everything.
