Afrobeats singer, Wizkid causes a buzz as a video of him speaking to pupils at his childhood school pops up on social media.
The Afrobeats sensation, it would be recalled, landed Nigeria some weeks ago to hold the burial ceremony of his late, beloved mother who passed on to the other side.

Following the event, while still in Nigeria, the singer decided to pay a visit to the school he had attended during his boyhood days at JEBU-ODE Grammar School.
The video which surfaced online shows the Grammy award-winning artist speaking to the students who kept trying to get a touch of him.
He spoke to them and kept making gestures signifying them to ‘calm down’. However, the background music made it an impossibility to hear what the ‘Joro’ singer was saying to the pupils.

A fan of ace singer, Wizkid, has cried out on social media after making futile efforts to get the singer’s recognition.
In the video which the heartbroken fan shared on TikTok, he begged wizkid to listen to his song and believe in his talent, but the singer seemingly shunned him and walked away.

“Wizkid please listen to me. Don’t ignore me. I believe in my talent“, the fan pleaded.
The fan went ahead to sing one of his songs, unfortunately, Wizkid did not pay attention to him.

Popular Nigerian music producer, Samklef, has recounted the circumstances that led to the reported sour relationship between ace singer, Wizkid and his former record label boss, Banky W.
In a viral video on social media, Samklef shared that Wizkid left Banky W’s record label with anger after the latter tried to control him.

Noting that Wizkid had already ‘blown’ when Banky wanted to start controlling him, Samklef recalled when the EME record label boss ordered the the ace singer to remove his name from the Pakurumo song.
Samklef, however, revealed that Wizkid refused to remove his name from the song right in front of Banky W, thus disrespecting him.

This is coming after a new interview went viral of Banky saying he was displeased Wizkid didn’t attend his wedding among other things
Making the claims in a viral video, Samklef said: “Banky wanted to start controlling Wizkid, but Wizkid don already blow. How you wan control pikin wey don already blow? You cannot control a child that wants to fly, sotey Banky tell Wizkid make he comot my name for Pakurumo song for my presence! Disrespected me, but Wizkid no gree.
“That’s to tell you i’m talking about the control. Wizkid don already know sey this guy wan dey control am.”
