Chelsea football club manager Antonio Conte, admitted they missed Victor Moses in their 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace today (Saturday, April 1).

The Super Eagles star is currently nursing a calf problem and was replaced in the starting 11 by Pedro Rodriguez.

“Victor Moses is an important player because he’s having a great season but Pedro played very well in that wing-back position,” Conte told Chelsea’s official website.

“As wingers, they are very offensive and that showed we wanted to play our football. Pedro had a very good game.”

Conte also added that the title race has become more interesting, with Tottenham cutting their lead to seven points.

“It makes it more interesting in the championship,” he said.

“I always said that the league finishes when you have the mathematical team who won, otherwise you must fight and play every game to win, because in England there doesn’t exist an easy game.”
