A Nigerian lady says she’s ready to remain single if she doesn’t find a man who loves her more than her father does. She narrated how she called her father crying and informing him that one power bank wasn’t enough for her in school.

She also complained that there was no water available in the hostels due to unsteady power supply. Surprisingly, her father showed up at her school that evening with a new power bank, a gown, food and gallons of water for her.

A video of an overly excited Nigerian groom showing off his crazy dance moves on his wedding day has gotten tongues wagging. In the video shared via Instagram, the groom was spotted taking off his suit before showing off his dance moves.

His bride stared at him in awe as he began dancing awkwardly in the presence of guests who watched him with wide grins on their faces. Reacting to the video, @peace_babyf2 said: “I think his Ex came to the wedding because omo this is shege dance.”

Blackboi, a former Big Brother Titans housemate has given accolades to his colleague, Kanaga Jnr for being genuine towards him during the show.

Black was evicted from the Big Brother Titans show last Sunday, during the live eviction show. He exited the show alongside Thanag and Justin. While on the show, he got close to a couple of the housemates, including Kanaga Jnr. However, friendships in the house were formed blindly, as they could not honestly tell one another’s intentions. Upon leaving the show, Blackboi realized that Kanaga Jnr was one of those who honestly had good intentions and were genuine to him. He goes on to Instagram to pen an appreciative post, adding that he, “fucks with him for life.”

Court cases would not stop hand over to Tinubu

Federal Government reveals that court cases challenging the outcome of the presidential election, will not stop handing over to Tinubu.

It is no longer news that come May 29, the transition of power from President Muhammadu Buhari to the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, and the Vice President-elect, Kashim Shettima would take place. However, Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi is currently challenging the electoral process in court. Regardless, the Chairman of the Transition Committee, Boss Mustapha, stated that no court case can stop the handing over. This he told newsmen in Abuja on Monday, March 28.

He said: “The committee has been active and the refurbishment of offices for the President and Vice-President elect has been completed. The facility at the Defence House is ready. Security personnel of the Department of State Services and the Nigerian Police Force have also been deployed to the President and Vice-President elect. Protocol officers have also been assigned to both the President-elect and Vice-President-elect from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Intelligence Agency. The transition process is on course and all efforts are being made to ensure that it is smooth. On May 29, there would be a peaceful formal transfer of power to the new President. All litigation, whether resolved or not, will not in any way stop the process. The security committee has the responsibility to ensure that nothing happens to truncate the transition process. Nigerians are very law-abiding people.
Whoever has lost an election, there are provided avenues for those people to make whatever legal inquiry they want to make but the process would continue unabated. We would not create another constitutional crisis. On May 29, the hand-over will take place.”

Scott McTominay scored twice as Scotland claimed a famous 2-0 victory over Spain at Hampden Park in Euro 2024 qualifying on Tuesday, March 28.

McTominay was handed a start after his super sub appearance against Cyprus on Saturday, March 25, when he scored twice in the last six minutes of play to give the Scots a 3-0 win. Popular Nigerian singer and songwriter, Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk, professionally known as Iyanya, recently made a startling revelation about the cost of creating and promoting a song in Nigeria. Specifically, he disclosed via his Twitter account that he spent a staggering sum of N52 million on a collaborative track he recorded with two other music stars, Davido and Kizz Daniel, titled ‘Like’.

This amount covered not only the recording of the song but also the production of its music video and the promotion activities carried out both before and after its release. In his tweet, Iyanya expressed shock at the exorbitant cost of promoting songs in Nigeria, which has become a common trend in the music industry.

He further revealed that the least amount he has ever spent on a song was N27 million, and this occurred in January 2021. Despite the costs he incurred, Iyanya advised upcoming artists not to be discouraged by his revelation. Instead, he encouraged them to remain focused and consistent in their musical pursuits.

Iyanya wrote; “Promoting music has become very expensive, if you are lucky to get a song go viral make you Thank God.” “The cheapest I have spent on a song since January 2021 is 27m. Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk, popularly known as Iyanya, has revealed his desire to be best friends with two of his colleagues. The musician engaged in a poll where he had to choose between two options.

In a poll, the musician was confronted with a list of options, and he was asked to select between Ayra Starr and Tems. However, he encountered difficulty in making a decision, and after much deliberation, he ultimately decided to choose both artists. At the beginning of the poll, Iyanya was presented with a choice between a woman’s backside and front, and without hesitation, he opted for the latter option.

Later on, when asked to pick between Tems and Ayra Starr and determine which one he would like to be his best friend, Iyanya responded by saying that he would like to have both of them as his friends. Iyanya was also given the option to choose between Jollof rice and Fried rice. However, he surprised everyone by opting for Ofada, a local delicacy.
