Popular Nollywood actress, Beverly Naya has reacted to Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi flooring the APC candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Lagos.

The thespian said that the people of Lagos turned up for those who had died in the ENDSARS protest. According to her, Lagos residents never forgot about the incident which happened on the 20th of October 2020.

She added that Lagos governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who is also a candidate of APC, is shaking over the results. She tweeted: “Lagosians showed up and showed out, this is for 20.10.20. We didn’t forget and will never forget. Sanwo Olu is shaking right now.”

The PDP presidential election spokesman, Dele Momodu applauds the supporters of the Labour Party for their turnout in Lagos as Peter Obi takes lead.

Following the collation of results released in Lagos State, the LP presidential candidate led with 32,657 votes while results from three local governments in the state are still pending. Addressing the result, Dele Momodu applauded the winning party for the remarkable polls despite not being a member of the party. “Labour Party put up a spectacular display in Lagos and I must salute them even though we are not in the same Party” the PDP spokesman stated. Peter Obi leads Tinubu in Lagos, 3 LG’s results pending

According to the latest report, Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), is currently leading Tinubu in the presidential elections held in Lagos on Saturday. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared results for 17 local governments, with the collation adjourned until 10:00 am. So far, Obi has garnered 449,088 votes, while Tinubu has received 416,431 votes. However, Tinubu has won in 10 local governments, while LP has won in 7 of the 17 LGAs declared. Tinubu’s wins include Agege, Apapa, Badagry, Epe, Ibeju-Lekki, Ifako-Ijaiye, Ikorodu, Lagos Island, Lagos Mainland, and Surulere, while Obi’s wins include Eti-Osa, Amuwo Odofin, Ikeja, Ajeromi-Ifelodun, Kosofe, Oshodi-Isolo, and Somolu. The results for Alimosho, Ojo, and Mushin are still pending.

In a recent post via Instagram, Kolawole Ajeyemi addressed trolls coming for him and his children while emphasizing that he had nothing to do with his wife political stance.

APC Abdullahi Adamu loses senatorial seat to SDP

The National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Abdullahi Adamu has lost his seat in Nasarawa Western Zone to an SDP candidate.

According to reports, Adamu lost his seat to Ahmed Wadada of the Social Democratic Party in the National Assembly elections held on Saturday. The INEC returning agent for Nasawara Baba while declaring the winner said Ahmed Wadada of SDP pulled 98,488 votes while Adamu of the APC also pulled 47,717 votes. Also, the PDP candidate also pulled 46,820 while the Labour party pulled 33,228. Aside from the seat lost in the Nasarawa West, the APC also lost the Keffi/Kokona/Karu seat to the SDP with Gaza Gwefwi retaining his seat. SDP pulled 60,265 votes, the APC also pulled 28,417 votes, the LP, 29655, and the PDP 33,180 for the house of representatives elections.
