Nigerian highlife musician, Frank Ifeanyi Dons, known as Anyidons, had posted his chat with Ichakanations after reaching out to him to get information about the boys. This is coming amid Happie Boys’ clash with Omega Power Ministries (OPM)’s Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere. Anyidons said he was shocked by his findings. In the leaked chat, Ichakanations tagged Happie Boys as ungrateful and shared how they lived a lavish lifestyle. He claimed that Happie Boys smoke and drink in the open and even in the church despite being warned severally by Apostle Chibuzor to desist from such evil to no avail. Ichakanations added that Happie Boys move about with different girls and buy expensive clothes and shoes just to show off. His revelation about the boys stirred massive reactions online, as many found the allegations hard to believe. Ichakanations said he was also a beneficiary of OPM’s Cyprus scholarship. “They did a very big mistake calling out the pastor. I know people that are on scholarships that work to support their families. They want everything on a platter”, he wrote.

What I saw when I entered Osinachi’s house – Women Affairs Minister

What I saw when I entered Osinachi's house – Women Affairs Minister

Women Affairs Minister, Dame Pauline Tallen, has shared her experience after visiting the home of late singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu.
According to Dame Pauline, she had visited the Abuja home of the deceased to identify with the traumatized children who were still heartbroken over their mother’s death.

“When I came into the compound, I saw the children, four beautiful children; three boys, one girl. He (Peter) had told the children that they should not speak about the things that have been happening in the house.
I came in with all the directors in the ministry. When I was asking questions, I saw that the children were not forthcoming. I excused everyone and said I wanted to have a one-on-one with the children.

I first spoke with the first son. I asked him, ‘Do you love your mother?’ He said, ‘Yes’. ‘Has your mummy taught you to tell lies?’ He said, ‘Yes’. I asked him if she is still alive and he said she is dead.
I asked him, “Do you know that she is now your angel and she is now watching you?’ He said, ‘Yes’. ‘So, it will be very sad if you tell lies’.
“I introduced myself and I told him the President is concerned, every Nigerian is concerned, we all join them to mourn Osinachi’s death but what we want from him is the truth.
“Then he opened up. He said that their dad used to beat their mom and their mom was always sad. He would beat her and flog her. He said their father would gather them in the room and be beating them and if the mom comes into the room to stop him, he would turn back on her and beat her up. And that has always been the case.
“The children said it was their mom that runs around on her gospel music, comes back with her money. In fact, if the money is paid through (a) bank account, it was paid into his account.
“She has no account of her own, any money she has, he collects it and gives her just peanut for feeding and when she cooks, he started shouting and beating her. And their mom was living in fear and was always sad.
“It was such a horrible story from a young boy that is said to be just 12. I asked him what class he is and he said Class Five. At the age of 12? I said, ‘Why?’ And he said he can’t even read. So, mentally, this child is already destroyed.
“I was battling with tears and when he finished, I called on the second son. The second son repeated the same horrible situation as well as the third son.”

Women Affairs minister, Pauline Tallen reacts as she makes promises to Nigerians

Women Affairs minister, Pauline Tallen reacts as she makes promises to Nigerians

Mrs Dame Pauline Tallen, Nigerian Minister for Women Affairs on Monday reacted to the death of popular gospel artiste, Osinachi Nwachukwu, who reportedly died from domestic violence.

Her reaction follows public outrage that ensued after late Osinachi’s colleagues pointed accusing fingers at her husband.
Meanwhile, as Nigerians demand justice, Tallen who made some promises noted that with the singer’s death, “it is now truly obvious that violence knows no class or creed”.

The minister assured Nigerians that the ministry under her watch will prosecute the matter to get justice for Osinachi.

In her words: “As with every news of domestic violence which spreads like wildfire, I was woken up to the news of the untimely death of one of Nigeria’s finest female gospel Artistes Osinachi Nwachukwu who was said to have died as a result of cancer on 8th April 2022.

“This could have passed as one of those news until new facts started emerging that she died as a result of domestic violence. Then you begin to wonder and ask how such a talented and self-accomplished individual who loved God has been a victim?
“It is now truly obvious that violence knows no class or creed. It could have been that she cried out to her Church or Pastor or friends or family, but all she got was “it is well” and now that the inevitable has happened, they are speaking out. It is NOT WELL if we carry on with the traditional ways of sweeping bad behaviour under the carpet.
“In Nigeria today, Domestic Violence is a crime under the Violence Against Persons Prohibition Act (2015). The Federal Government of Nigeria and the States have declared zero tolerance to Gender-Based Violence. And so, the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs under my watch will prosecute this matter to get justice for Osinachi. It is obvious that her children also need psyco-social support to heal from this trauma if it is true that their Father will go the whole length of tying her up and asking the children to flog her with a cane. This is unbelievable and MUST be condemned in all its ramifications.
“The Ministry working with relevant authorities will set in motion the mechanism to rehabilitate these children so that they do not grow up damaged and assume that such acts are normal thereby poisoning our society.
“I know that more women are going through such traumatic experiences, please give them a listening ear, provide wise counsel and save them from untimely death. I am not advocating for divorce for those, who will misunderstand me! All I am asking is that we stand up to the truth where necessary and promptly so as to save a life when we have an opportunity to do so. We cannot continue to keep losing our young women to mentally unstable young men all in the name of marriage. Life first before anything.
“Our Religious and Traditional institutions, as well as our immediate families, must join us in this fight to rid our society of such acts before they become fatal.
“May the soul of Osinachi and all those who have lost their lives as a result of domestic violence rest in peace. Please if you see something, speak out, so that together we can save lives.”
