A Nigerian man Tari Ibruku, hailing from Twon-Brass in Southern Bayelsa, has stunned many by constructing a water bicycle capable of traveling on rivers. Popularly known as “Let’s Go,” Tari has captured the attention of locals and many online with his innovative water bicycle, as reported by NigerDelta Insider. According to the Facebook page of NigerDelta Insider, Tari recently tested his creation on a river, confirming its functionality and effectiveness.

A keke driver has been lynched to death shortly after he stabbed a young man named Douglas Joseph to death over N50.

According to reports the incident happened in Yenizue-Epie community of Yenagoa Local Government Area, Bayelsa State. The passenger who was stabbed by the Keke driver, Douglas Joseph, 30, was a native of the community and a father of three. According to an eyewitness, the keke driver charged the passenger a fare of N150 which was supposed to be N100. The passenger, Douglas did not agree to pay the fare and it ended in a fight. “He said he was coming from Opolo community to Kpansia which was supposed to be N100, but the Keke rider insisted on collecting N150. “As we were separating them, we saw the Keke rider bring out a dagger. We thought it was just to scare the youth. But he stabbed him on his lap and the young man fell to the ground. People prevented the Keke rider from running away. Unfortunately, the wounded victim died. Following the death of the passenger, “the Keke rider was lynched by a mob that hit him with different objects”, the eyewitness added.

Sylva defeated five other contestants, including Joshua Machiver, Festus Danumiebi, Maureen Etebu, David Lyon, and Isikima Johnson, with a total of 52,061 votes. The committee chairman expressed gratitude to all stakeholders for the peaceful conduct of the primary election. In his acceptance speech, Timipre Sylva, a former governor of the state, called for the support of his fellow contestants to ensure victory for the APC. Represented by Sunny Goli, a member of the House of Representatives, he said, “Lets us work together as a family to win the Bayelsa governorship election on Nov. 11, 2023.”

The dissatisfied corper identified by his handle as @TushThug315 urged the government to scrap the programme because youths can’t be suffering like this every year.
It is worthy to note that this is not the first time images of unconducive Corpers abodes are surfacing.
Nigerian youths have always complained over the poor and unhygienic apartments provided by the government when serving their Father’s land.
Lamenting, the lad wrote:
