Corpers document terrifying experience crossing river to go to PPA

Corpers share video which documented their experience of how they had to cross a river to locate their place of primary assignment (PPA). The corpers who were freshly out of camp were stupefied to find that they had to board a boat to their PPA at Bonny Island in Rivers state.

Soldiers make uncooperative corpers to march around with mattresses on their heads in front of their colleagues for dodging morning parade at NYSC camp. The corpers were reported to be sleeping at their hostels instead of being at their parade ground.

Female corper screams in fright and disbelief as she’s taken to her PPA Corpers’ lodge in a viral video. The corps member wasn’t prepared for what she had seen after being deployed from the orientation camp to her place of primary assignment. When she saw the place she was meant to stay for one year, it sent chills running down her back. The video she shared showed the very dilapidated house whose doors and windows looked worn down and rickety.

Couple who met as corpers celebrate 22nd wedding anniversary

A couple who met as compatriots serving together during their NYSC year has celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary.

The husband identified as Remmy Hazzan took to his Facebook page to share a beautiful throwback photo to commemorate their day. One photo captures the couple in their NYSC garbs from more than decades ago and another, which captures their current looks.

He described their union as a fine wine which only gets sweeter with the passage of time; an endless honeymoon. Sharing the photos, he wrote: “From CORPERS to COUPLE. 22 years on. Not only has the wine become sweeter, the honeymoon has virtually become endless. Happy WEDDING ANNIVERSARY to us. To God be the glory.”

“They should scrap NYSC” – Corps member laments dilapidated state of Corpers lodge in Bayelsa State

A corps member has taken to the micro-blogging platform, Twitter to cry out over the dilapidated state of the Corpers lodge in Odi, Bayelsa State.

The dissatisfied corper identified by his handle as @TushThug315 urged the government to scrap the programme because youths can’t be suffering like this every year.
It is worthy to note that this is not the first time images of unconducive Corpers abodes are surfacing.
Nigerian youths have always complained over the poor and unhygienic apartments provided by the government when serving their Father’s land.
Lamenting, the lad wrote:

“Situation in Odi Bayelsa Corpers lodge. Maybe they should scrap NYSC. We can’t be suffering”
