Davido‘s most recent album, Timeless claims the number one spot on Apple Music Nigeria as it gallantly sits at the top.

It appears the music scene is going to revolve around Davido for a while, as his album, Timeless keeps racking up new feats. Just this morning, NigezieXtreme reported that Timeless has become the first-ever Africanalbum to hit no.1 on the US iTunes album chart. Right now, Timeless is the number one album on Apple Music Nigeria. Earlier, the singer acknowledged that Timeless has received wide acceptance from music lovers globally. Tallest corper debunks claims of relationship with ex-colleague

Phillip Ayobami, a former corper alias tallest, refutes claims made by Ruth Innocent, an ex-colleague a.k.a shortest corper on their romantic relationship following their viral photos on social media. Ruth had stated in a Facebook post alleging that they fell in love during the orientation camp and had been together ever since. However, in an unexpected turn of events, Phillip Ayobami denied a relationship with Ruth. He accused her of being a clout chaser for the sake of attention on social media.

His statement reads in part; “In view of the above, I want to categorically state that I and Innocent Ruth met in the year 2021 at Kayama NYSC orientation camp (Bayelsa State) where we were brought together as the tallest and shortest corps members as part of activities by the NYSC to create fun in camp. “We never had any relationship during and after the orientation camp. It been two years those photos were taken and I haven’t set my eyes on her for over two years now (sic). “I hereby advice Innocent Ruth to take down the post from all her social media platforms else face legal action”, he wrote.

CJN Ariwoola spotted in Abuja mosque following claims of sighting in London

New images have surfaced of Justice Kayode Ariwoola, the Chief Justice of Nigeria, participating in prayers at the Ansar-Ud-Deen Central Mosque in Abuja.

This comes following reports that the Chief Justice secretly met with the president-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu who is in London for a medical check up. In the viral photo, Ariwoola was reportedly seen on a wheelchair while being assisted by a supposed medical staff at an airport waiting area.

Club owner and brother beat bartender to death over claims of stealing

The owner of Club 183, alongside his brother, has been accused of beating a bartender to death over allegations of stealing a DJ mixer.

Don-V who runs the club along the Okota area of Lagos State reportedly accused his bartender, Destiny of stealing a piece of equipment after which he involved military men. In a video making rounds on social media, Destiny was seen tied and flogged intensely by military officers while pleading for his life. An eyewitness claimed that at some point, the accused Destiny collapsed and fell into a coma before taking his last breath.

Don-V is said to be bragging about the death of his bartender while allegedly emphasizing that he is above the law because of his wealth and connection. The state’s Police command, however, is yet to confirm the incident or launch an investigation into the death of the young bartender. Gary Neville claims Bruno Fernandes was asking to be subbed off at 6-0 down to Liverpool

Football legend turned pundit and commentator, Gary Neville has hit out at Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes for reportedly being annoyed at not being substituted during their 7-0 loss to Liverpool.

He said; “Bruno Fernandes is stood in the centre circle with his arms raised saying ‘why is it me not coming off?’ “Honestly, I have to say some of his behaviour in the second half has been a disgrace. I’ve had enough of him throwing his arms about, not running about. That wasn’t a captain’s performance by him.” Fellow pundit and former Man Utd team-mate Keane said: “Fernandes’ body language today was disgraceful. Players will no doubt feel ashamed. They went missing in the second half. “But I have to say Liverpool were absolutely amazing. Famous lifestyle influencer, Bobrisky Okuneye, reacts to claims of using his domestic staff to shoot adult content in his house.

This comes following adult content shared by Bobrisky on his Snapchat page which made waves across the internet space. An Instagram blogger, Tosin Silverdam in a post accusing the crossdresser of using his staff for creating such content at a cost. “It seems Bobrisky is using his/her assistant abi househelp to do p#rn ooo. A s3x video was posted on Bobrisky’s snap, the room in the sxx video is the same room in Bobrisky’s video. Bobrisky dey post sxx videos on his/her private snap for fee.” He wrote.

Addressing the issue, Bobrisky threatened to take the allegations seriously while emphasizing the motive behind such claims as jealousy. “Morning guys, i wokeup and feeling all emotional. Why are people heartless ? Can’t people do without jealous and hate? It’s disgusting trying so hard to bring a human like you down for no single reason… Not everyone is heartless now, some of us are still sweet to friends and strangers even with all d evil you have said about us and all. A Nigerian medical practitioner, Dr Richard Okoye, calls out a UK-based Nigerian who spreads falsehoods about Nigeria‘s healthcare system including claims that ‘eba‘ is the cause of fibroids.

Dr Richard who is the chairman of Save A Life Group debunked some claims made by a Nigerian abroad who scams unsuspecting victims with falsehoods. The fellow claimed that every woman in Nigeria has fibroids in them as a result of the heavy carbohydrate foods consumed in Africa. He pressed on to allege that the Nigerian healthcare system is in shambles and that hospitals can only test for HIV, Hepatitis A, B, and COVID-19. Dr Richard Okoye, however, stated that after spending hours on the fellow’s live session, he realised that he scams Nigerians with his bogus claims. Hamann claims Guardiola ‘never wanted’ Haaland at Manchester City

Former Liverpool midfielder Didi Hamann has claimed that Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola “never wanted” Erling Haaland at the club.

Haaland has scored 31 goals in 28 matches in all competitions, with 25 of those coming in the Premier League, but despite that unbelievable goalscoring record, there are claims that Manchester City would play better without him. In an interview with talkSPORT, Hamann insists that it’s “almost like playing with ten men” for City when Haaland is on the pitch and that Guardiola “never wanted” the former Dortmund striker. He said; “Haaland’s strength is the opposite of what City’s strength is. “City were successful because they retained the ball, they had rhythm, they had fluidity in their game and they shared goals. “Now you’ve got a player who a lot of the time in their matches hardly takes part, it’s almost like playing with ten men. I don’t care how many goals he scores or how many hat-tricks he scores, you need to see how many goals the team scores. I think they’ve scored less goals at the same stage of last season and have got less points. “I don’t think that Haaland is a player that fits into the team because he’s everything the team isn’t. “He’s good when you play quickly – at Dortmund he scored his goals after they turned over the ball, played three or four passes and the ball was in the back of the net. With City they pass the ball 30/40 times before breaking the team down and that’s not his game. “I don’t think long-term he will improve City’s team and that’s their biggest problem.” Also commenting on claim of Haaland and Guardiola not having a good relationship, Hamann added; “I never thought he was going to go to City because he’s a player Guardiola never wanted. “Every centre forward was sent away from Barcelona, at times he played Robert Lewandowski on the left at Bayern Munich, Gabriel Jesus played out wide most of the time. “Maybe they thought ‘there’s a player who we get for £50-60million and he’s twice or treble that, we have to buy him’. “Would he be a benefit for Chelsea or Manchester United? Yes, I think so. Would he have scored the same goals for them? I don’t know, probably not because at City he gets more chances than for these teams but I don’t think he’s a good fit for Manchester City.”
