The father of the boy(names withheld) told Nigeriainfo.fm Port Harcourt on Tuesday that the two dogs who attacked the toddler on Monday have also been killed with lethal injections. It was learnt that the tragic incident happened when the parents of the toddler had left for work. A seven-year-old girl who was a sibling of the deceased toddler had gone to set the dogs and loosened them from their cage to feed them. But the dogs attacked the toddler immediately after they were set free. It was learnt that after killing the child, they attempted to feed on the innocent boy’s flesh. We must all join hands to eliminate criminalities that warrant the rearing of foreign wild dogs”, he said.
