Following the release of the Timeless album, it has broken multiple records across streaming platforms both at home and abroad. In a recent interview, Davido emphasized how the support has been the biggest for him in his 12-year career in the music industry. “I’m happy that people accepted it. They always doubted my album; it’s a different thing for me but people accepted this one. This is a first time for me in 12 years of killing shit. I have never felt this way before. Davido in disbelief as his album, ‘Timeless’ sets new record on Audiomack

Popular singer, Davido has set a new record on Audiomack as his album, ‘Timeless‘ becomes the first album ever to gain over 12 million streams within it’s first 24 hours of release.

The streaming platform shared this on their official Twitter page four days following ‘Timeless’ album release. Davido, who quoted the tweet, reacted with an emoji which showed his utter disbelief. Recall that the singer’s album has already set a record on Boomplay after reaching one million stream within 6 hours of release. Bouncers struggle to save Davido from getting mobbed during a recent concert in New York

Nigerian musician, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido recently hosted a concert in New York to mark the successful release of his latest album titled “Timeless”.

However, the concert was not without its own set of challenges. During the event, a video surfaced online, showing the artiste in close proximity to the enthusiastic crowd that had gathered to watch him perform causing the bouncers to quickly step in to save him from being mobbed by the frenzied audience. Despite the danger he faced, Davido refused to let the situation deter him, and he continued to sing and vibe to his music, displaying his professionalism and dedication to his craft. Popular singer, Davido has said that he doesn’t think the concluded 2023 general elections was credible.

The singer said this while speaking in a segment of an interview on ‘Timeless 99.9FM’ Davido who had been away on social media since 2022 and had been mute throughout the election period said he wasn’t really happy with the outcome of the election. He said that he personally does not think that the election was a credible one. According to him, he would have been more vocal about it if he had been active on social media at the time. He added that the lives and safety of the people should have been at the forefront of the process, but the converse had been the case. Watch the video below:

Superstar Afrobeat singer, Davido Adeleke sheds light on his revamped relationship with Wizkid while confirming their upcoming music tour together.

It would be recalled that Wizkid once stated intentions to go on a music tour with David Adeleke which stirred a backlash. In a recent interview, Davido affirmed that truly he’d be going on a music tour with the Ojuelegba singer. He, however, affirmed that it may not happen this year but the next.

He further delved into their relationship while stating that Wizkid has been there for him and kept in touch every week. “Yeah, I think probably … we’re in the talk. I think next year because I have to do my tour first; this Timeless album. I think by next year, me and Wizkid will do a record together. Nollywood actress, Eniola Badmus, has caused a frenzy online after congratulating Davido on his fourth studio album, Timeless. The album has been gaining attention on major streaming platforms ever since its release.

Davido, a Nigerian music legend speaks on losing people close to him and dedicating a song on his album, Timeless to them.

While speaking in an interview at Beat FM, Davido, who released his album Timeless today, March 31 touched on losing people close to him. It will be recalled that the singer lost his first son, Ifeanyi Adeleke on the 31st of October, 2023. When asked about the track on his album, Legends Can Never Die, LCND, he said it was dedicated to those who he has lost. From losing his mom at 10 to losing his best friend, his bodyguard, and then his son. The singer shared that although they are gone, he still spiritually feels their presence around him, hence the song, Legends Can Never Die. He also said the song is for everyone out there who has lost one or two close people. Davido also shared that the song is the oldest on the album, and was recorded 2 years ago in Los Angeles.
