The reality star and hype priestess took to her social media page to bemoan how her privacy had changed since becoming famous. She had been repeatedly ridiculed and has received death threats from faceless critics who detest her for unfathomable reasons. Phyna who had had enough with the whole threats took to her Twitter page to tender a general apology while pleading for her old life back. She wrote: “At this point everybody who don’t like me wins, and I’m sorry you don’t like me. I hereby say I will no longer do too much and I will take a break to allow you and those you like shine, just stop the death threats already, but the using fake account? “God of Mercy. I thought BBN was just a game. I’m sorry if I have offended anyone while in the house and out. Please enough of the death threats behind fake accounts. I don dey beg o. Costa Titch passed away on Saturday evening following a seizure while performing at a show. He collapsed on stage and was rushed out after which he was declared dead. In reaction, Kiddwaya took to his Instagram page to reveal that some singers use drugs to motivate their performance at a show. He further encouraged the management of the singers to moderate their lifestyle and recommend frequent checkups.

Nigerian man strangles pregnant wife to death 1 year after marriage

A Nigerian man has been arrested for allegedly strangling his pregnant wife to death in Otolo, Nnewi South LGA of Anambra State. The suspect, identified as Ikechukwu Obiora, reportedly attacked and killed his wife, Mrs Ebere Obiora, on Thursday, March 2, 2025, after she delayed in opening the gate for him.

The couple got married in August 2022 and were expecting their first child before the incident happened. According to reports, Ikechukwu admitted to the crime, saying: “I returned home in the morning of March 2, 2025, and was knocking at the gate, but my wife did not open it immediately. In that anger, i started shouting at her. I first [email protected] and hit her from the gate to the house before angrily [email protected] her on the neck and [email protected] her to d£ath.

I couldn’t believe what happened because i never expected that such actions would lead to her d&ath. I eventually abandoned the corpse and left out of fear and confusion, after confiding in few persons who i sought advice on what to do. It was later in the evening that my mother reached out to my wife’s family members.”

In an audio making the rounds on social media, Whitney Adeniran’s father pleaded with the Chrisland schools’ principal to tell him the truth for closure’s sake. Mrs Amowo, however, insisted that she does not know more than what she was told by the first respondents and those who witnessed the death of the child.

The late student’s father, Michael Adeniran had also taken to social media on Saturday night to demand a probe into the death of his daughter. He called on the Lagos State government and the police to intervene in the matter. Chrisland schools release statement following death of 12-year-old student Meanwhile, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the incident saying, “the matter was reported to the police immediately after the incident occurred. “The case is presently at the State Criminal Investigation Department and an autopsy is going to be carried out to know the circumstances that led to her death. That’s all the update I have for now.” In response, Chrisland Schools released a statement to address the death of Whitney Adeniran. The statement read; “The management and staff of Chrisland Schools Limited, with a deep sense of loss, announce the death of our precious student, Whitney Adeniran; whose painful exit occurred on Thursday, February 9th, 2023.
“We are heartbroken and distressed. Whitney was one of our Day students who opted not to participate in the inter-house sports match past for reasons we were not very sure of.
“However, on discretion, we respected her decision to err on the side of caution, because on the January 20, 2023, it is in our records that she had complained about a not-too-buoyant health and we immediately contacted her parents.
“Her father, Mr. Michael Adeniran, came to the school to take her home. We emphasised to her parents to take a critical look at her. “Our immediate response was to take advantage of proximity to first-aid, by identifying the nearest medical facility to take her to, where the doctor on duty, administered oxygen and every aid possible on her.” Chrisland requested that the Adeniran family conduct a thorough investigation to determine the cause of her death before her funeral. “We immediately notified regulatory stakeholders and agencies to allow for a comprehensive evaluation and assessment of the developments.
“In spite of the compelling imperatives to fill any information gaps in public space, we stopped short of making any media sensation out of this, because the deceased in question, was a minor and is deserving of our unqualified respect.
“We also prioritised according respect to the privacy of the family and were with them consistently, to mourn together. This is a painful loss for all of us,” it added.

Pastor fakes his death to avoid paying for N3 million debt

An Ondo-based pastor, Pastor Paul Oyewole has been fished out after faking his death to avoid paying a loan of N3 million from a congregant.

According to reports, the man of God, Pastor Oyewole tried to escape from repaying N3 million borrowed from a member of his congregation. He reportedly circulated his own obituary on a social media platform after he sent a fake bank alert to his creditor, Boyede Emmanuel. The pastor has been charged with acquiring money falsely while promising to repay it within seven days. He was also charged with publishing false news of his death to avoid paying for his debt. The pastor is also reported to have threatened the complainant over the phone with the purpose to intimidate him and also stripping him nude in front of the complainant’s residence.

“Happiness left my life” – Father of 9-year-old girl beaten to death

A bereaved father has taken to Facebook to mourn his 9-year-old daughter, Precious Korchima, who was allegedly beaten to death by her guardian in Enugu state. The father of the girl, Jerry Achirkpi had earlier on demanded that justice be served.

It was reported that, the suspect, Mrs Ujunwa Ugwuoke allegedly beat the 9-year-old to death in her residence at Fidelity Estate, Okpara Avenue, Enugu where the little girl was working as a house help. In a Facebook post he made, Mr Achirkpi, revealed that happiness departed his home the moment his daughter died. He wrote: “There was happiness in my home until the Devil stole it away. It will be restored back in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen. Justice for precious.” According to the police, the suspect took the child’s corspe to the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH), Ituku-Ozalla, for medical attention. However, it was then confirmed that the little girl was dead which was when Mrs Ugwoke immediately took the body and dumped it in a refuse site along Ugbo-Nwagidi Village Road, Enugwueze Uno-Ituku community in Awgu Local Government Area. After which she fled to Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, from where she sent a false alarm claiming that the deceased, her little child and herself, were kidnapped and taken to an unknown destination, on 9th November 2022, while on their way back home from Independence Layout, Enugu, where she had gone to refill her Gas Cylinder. The suspect, also claimed that kidnappers requested a ransom of twenty million naira for each of them. However, she resurfaced on the 16th November 2022, alleging that the kidnappers spared her and her child but shot the deceased dead. The Police revealed that the case was transferred to the Homicide Section of the State CID Enugu from the New Haven Police Division, where it was previously reported as a kidnap upon her confessional statement.
