The remarkable story came to light when philanthropist Dennis Mbugua took to Facebook to share the inspiring moment. The post featured a photo of the compassionate lecturer, identified as Ruth Mburu, carrying the sleeping baby on her back while actively invigilating an examination.

Mbugua commended her extraordinary effort, emphasizing that Ruth Mburu had gone the “extra mile.” “The lecturer picked up the innocent baby and continued invigilating the exam. This is extra mile…blessings beyond blessings, big up madam,” Mbugua wrote on Facebook. Ruth Mburu, whose dedication to her students and commitment to their education has long been admired, has shown an exceptional level of compassion. Her willingness to assist a student in need, even during the rigorous examination process, has been widely praised by members of the online community. Duncun Mbuya, a content, shared his admiration for Ruth Mburu, recounting his prior encounters with her.
