Upcoming artist drags Bobrisky for refusing to promote his song

An upcoming artist has called out celebrity transgender, Bobrisky, for refusing to post his music or reply his messages after getting paid 200k. The artist revealed this on his Twitter page, @gafgold, where he asked Nigerians to beg Bobrisky to refund him. From the chats he shared, he reached out to Bobrisky, asking for his price to run an advert with him. Bobrisky required the sum of 1Miliion, but the upcoming artist pleaded with him, claiming he had only 200k to send. He sent the money on the 18th of November, and since then, Bobrisky had been ignoring him despite promising to post it on the evening he made payment. Police released my son’s body to his father, but he’s refusing to bury him

The mother of the late musician Mohbad has disclosed that the father of the artist has refused to bury him after police handed him the body. The mother of Mohbad, while speaking in her local dialect, disclosed that immediately after the police ran the autopsy on the singer, they released the corpse for burial but the father refused to bury him. She added that she went to see the commissioner of police to complain but he rained insults on her, saying that the family of the singer was happy about his demise, hence their refusal to bury him. A Nigerian student has been assaulted after he reportedly refused to help his colleagues during an examination at a school in Imo State. Online reports alleged that the unnamed student had written an exam with his colleagues and had covered his work from them. After the exams they came for him and began maltreating him for what they deemed to be unfair treatment to them. A video which has gone viral shows the student being maltreated by his fellows outside the building. Obi and the LP are petitioners in the petition marked CA/PEPC/03/2023 challenging the election of President Bola Tinubu.

The LP and Obi told the Presidential Election Petition Court that due to INEC ‘s refusal to provide them the documents they asked for, they can’t go on with their case. Mr Jubrin Okutepa, counsel for the LP, told the court that all the documents his client asked for from INEC were not provided. ” We are bringing this to your notice for your intervention because we have done everything humanly possible. ” This afternoon, INEC released few IreV reports from Lagos and Gombe. ” These documents were certified since May 29. We have severally written letters detailing the documents we needed as proof of our petition. ” We have paid for most of these documents, “he said. He further informed the court that it appears that INEC was deliberately delaying proceedings. Mr Abubakar Mahmoud, SAN counsel for INEC, told the court that he received a letter dated May 15 from the petitioners and has not received any other letter after that. ” All the documents that the subpoenaed witnesses are tendering were provided by INEC. We never denied the petitioners any document. “I am a senior counsel and know the importance of this matter. They should stop this lamentation, ” he said. Mr Wole Olanipakun, SAN counsel for Tinubu and Shettima promised to ensure that a meeting between senior counsel holds to address the issues raised. The court urged them to come to a better understanding so that the proceeding can go on smoothly as they pledged in their spirit of cooperation. The petitioners through their counsel, Patrick Ikweato, SAN brought their seventh witness (PW 7) to come and testify. The subpoenaed witness, Loretta Ogah, is an architect with Amazon Web Services Incorporated (AWS) At the point of adopting her witness statement on oath, the respondents objected. Mahmoud, told the court that the petitioners just served them with the documents. ” I will not be in the position to examine the witness today, I need to study the documents ” he said. Olanipakun also objected to adoption of the witness statement. ” We are not saying that the witness should not go on with her evidence,” he said. The petitioners tendered the witness’s employment letter by Amazon and her resumé and were admitted in evidence. Also admitted were six reports showing the health status of AWS dashboard of cloud services in 33 regions and certificates of compliance. Meanwhile, the five-member panel led by Justice Haruna Tsammani adjourned until Tuesday for the cross-examination of the witness and further hearing of the petition.

Nigerian actress Ruby Ojiakor has revealed how she lost a lead role with Ghanaian actor, Majid Michel after she refused to sleep with a marketer.

There have been several rumors about how some movie executives have been demanding sex from female actresses for a particular movie role. According to Ruby Ojiakor, she was replaced with another person when she refused sexual advances from the marketer. Speaking in an interview with The Punch, the actress disclosed that Majid Michel was paid extra to reshoot the same scenes with someone else. Ruby said; “I remember when I was called for a job in Enugu and we shot it for two days. I was supposed to be the female lead character in the movie. The marketer that owned the job wanted to ‘get down’ with me. But, I told him I could not do such a thing. I thought that since I had started shooting some scenes in the movie, nothing could be done to me and he cannot cancel my scenes, which I shot with Ghanaian actor, Majid Michel, then. I also felt Majid would not want to re-act the scenes he had done before. Those factors made me think that the producer’s decision to change me would be fruitless. But to my surprise, I was not called to continue my scenes. When I challenged the production manager, he said I should not be angry because someone else had been called to play the role. I was not given any reason for being removed from that project. I asked if Majid agreed to re-shoot those scenes, and I was told he was paid extra money to do so. That was how I lost a movie role because I refused to sleep with the owner of the movie. The scenes I had already shot were wiped out from that movie. That was a painful experience, but I have moved on. I don’t think anything can be done to stop sexual advances from filmmakers. Some people have tried to report them, but it has not yielded any positive results. When an actress reports an offender, she is practically setting herself up for a fall. The offenders know themselves, and if one person reports any of them, they would gang up against that actress in the industry, and she would not be getting movie roles. It is just like a cartel. The best thing is to train oneself and be firm that even if others are doing it, one will not do it. That was what I did.”
