Wizkid tattoos his children’s faces on his leg

The superstar Afrobeats singer, popularly known as Wizkid, demonstrates his affection for his kids by getting tattoos of his children’s faces on his leg. The singer who has been known for his low-key lifestyle, however, does not shy away from expressing his love for his children. The celebrated singer, who has received numerous accolades, including a Grammy, proudly shared photos of his leg, which displays the images of his four sons.

This includes Boluwatife Balogun, his first child, born to Shola Ogudu; Ayo Jr., his second son, born to Binta Diamond, who resides in the US and his other two sons were born to his manager, Jada Pollock. It is noteworthy that Wizkid and Pollock welcomed their second child together in October 2022.

BRT driver faces 16-count charges over Lagos train accident

The Lagos State Ministry of Justice is set to press 16 charges of manslaughter and causing grievous bodily harm against Oluwaseun Osibanjo, the driver of the BRT bus that collided with a moving train in Lagos.

The tragic incident resulted in the deaths of six Lagos State Government staff and passengers of the train, while 96 others were injured to varying degrees. The collision occurred on March 9, when a staff bus collided with a train at the PWD railway crossing in Ikeja and the train dragged the bus and its passengers along the tracks until it came to a halt at Sogunle, a suburb of Ikeja. In a statement released on Friday by the Director of Public Affairs in the ministry, Grace Alo, the BRT driver is faced with 16-count charges. “Upon the receipt and review of the case file by the Department of Public Prosecution (DPP), a prima facie case of manslaughter and grievous bodily harm were disclosed against the driver of the Staff bus. “Accordingly, he is to be charged with 6 counts of manslaughter and 10 counts of grievous bodily harm. “Both offences are contrary to Sections 224 and 245 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015,” the statement read. According to the statement, charges will be promptly filed against the driver by the Office of the DPP. Nevertheless, his appearance before the Ikeja High Court for trial will be postponed until he has completely recovered from the severe injuries sustained during the accident.

An Obidient supporter of Peter Obi stirs reactions as tattoos the name of the Labour Party’s presidential candidate on his chest.

A video making the rounds of social media captured the undying support for Peter Obi to become the president of Nigeria in the 2023 elections. The young man inked the tattoo of the presidential candidate which he boldly flaunted as his president come February 25th, 2023. The Obidient fan, however, was met with ridicule from many who questioned the logic behind getting such a tattoo.

“When I say these people don’t have sense and are going too far, they say I hate Peter Obi. Na bandwagon effect be this. The hype of the moment. You people are just carried away and are already forming a cult following,” a user @seuntreacts wrote. Another user @ukpeborfelix67 wrote, “Tomorrow when the guy does not lift up to expectation you will find another Miss to clean it away from your chest. Don’t you see you are just a coward you don’t have single sense in your head a man you don’t even know you are doing all this. Seyi Vibez faces backlash from Muslim community over Quranic verse in his music video

Street rave, Seyi Vibez has suffered a severe backlash from the Muslim community over opening his music video with a Quranic verse.

The singer unveiled a snippet of his new music video a couple of days ago. This came after Asake dropped his 2023 debut single, Yoga. The Muslim community, identified as @nigerianmuslim on Instagram made a repost of Seyi Vibez’s video. In their caption, it was indicated that they would not tolerate the use of the Quran in a music video. This development has set tongues wagging on all socials. Tory Lanez found guilty of shooting Megan Thee Stallion, faces 22-years in prison

Famous Canadian rapper, Tory Lanez, is found guilty of all three charges related to the shooting of his former colleague and friend, Megan Thee Stallion.

A Los Angeles jury on Friday found Daystar Peterson, better known as Tory Lanez, guilty of shooting Megan Thee Stallion in both of her feet following an argument about their romantic entanglements and respective careers in the summer of 2020.
He was convicted of all counts which included assault with a semiautomatic firearm, carrying a loaded unregistered firearm in a vehicle, and discharging a firearm with gross negligence.
Megan revealed that she had gotten into a fight with Lanez and her friend, Harry, as they were driven home by Lanez’s security guard, Jaquan Smith.

Megan, however, alighted the vehicle after which she was shot at repeatedly by Tory through the car window while saying “Dance B*t*h.”
He had earlier pleaded “Not guilty” in November 2020, after he was arraigned; now faces up to 22 years in prison.

This comes hours after the former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, alongside his wife, Beatrice Nwanneka Ekweremadu, were arrested in the UK over an alleged organ harvest.

Taking to the micro-blogging platform, Twitter, Peter Obi offered prayers to their daughter who is in a delicate health condition.
“My family and I are with the Ekweremadu’s over their travail. We join all men of goodwill in praying for the healing of their daughter and commit them into God’s hand for justice to be done. -PO,” he wrote.
