A man who recently arrived Nigeria has broken down in tears as he returns from abroad to find that his family didn’t build the house he’s been sending money home for. The tale was shared on Twitter by a netizen identified as @Inzaghi who revealed that he witnessed the man crying bitterly.

According to the narrator, the has been away from the country for 15 years and all the time, had been sending money home to his people to be utilized in building a house. Returning home 15 years later, he discovered that the money had been squandered by his mum and brother. @Inzaghi wrote; “8.30am: A man is crying & screaming in Oregun, apparently he just came back from Spain & all the money he’s been sending to his people to build a house is no where to be found.
He said he’s been gone for 15yrs and his mother & brothers have nothing to show him.. People are in traffic & foot soldiers have gathered , I had to roll down to see what’s going on.
I haven’t seen a man cry this much, he said he feels naked and empty.. All his life savings gone, he sent them money to build his personal house and 4 flats so they can earn income.”

Legendary American rapper Snoop Dog has begged Nigerian artist Tems for a music collaboration as he reveals his family loves her songs.

Tems has caught the attention of the rapper as he shares a video revealing how his whole family dance to the songs of Tems. Tems took to her official Instagram page to share some new photos of herself and re-shared the video of Snoop Dog requesting a collaboration. In his words… “So Tems, when are we going to make a record? You know I’m a fan. I had to get that out of the way, now let’s get to the sh!t, let’s make a fxcking hit record girl. Freedom Atsepoyi a.k.a Mr Jollof continues to ridicule the multi-award-winning singer, Wizkid, over the latter’s proposed tour with Davido.

Mr Jollof had condemned Wizkid in a video where he cautioned him never to drag his family into their disagreement. In a new post via his Instagram page, the influencer continued to lambast the singer on the importance of having a family while shaming him for being unmarried.

According to Jollof, Big Wiz came from a poor background yet he takes pride in dissing others about being poor. “Craze man wey no know wetin be family na him won dey put mouth in family. Notable MC, Mr Jollof, ridicules the superstar singer, Wizkid, over his reaction to his comment about the intention to go on a music tour with Davido.

Wizzy had taken to his Instagram to share his intentions to go on a tour with Davido after which Mr Jollof slammed him for reaching out at the wrong hour. In response, Wizzy ridiculed the MC with the claims of begging for alms to feed his family and how he should be washing underwear. Mr Jollof, however, took the reply to heart as he confronts the internationally recognized singer in a video.

In a heated outburst, the MC confirmed that he asked Big Wiz for assistance as a big fan of his after which he was promised N10M and never received it. He pressed on to caution the singer about dragging his family name into their brawl.

Nigerian singer, Wizkid, has replied Mr Jollof after the latter claimed he’s using Davido to uplift his career.

The drama started after Wizkid took to his Snapchat handle to announce an upcoming tour with colleague, Davido. Reacting to this, Mr Jollof stated that Davido created a heightened anticipation for his next show due to his absence in the music industry, and WizKid is trying to ride on this to gain relevance.

Lady rants over boyfriend who’s ashamed to tell his family that she’s an artist

A US-based Nigerian lady considers leaving her relationship with boyfriend because he is ashamed to tell his parents that she’s an artist by profession.

The US-based artist identified as Uzoart on Twitter revealed that she had asked her boyfriend whether he intends to introduce her as an artist to his family. He told that he would tell them that she’s an entrepreneur, shutting down her suggestion to be introduced as an artist. According to her, she grew up having to defend her profession and that there’s no way she’d be with a partner who is ashamed to tell people that she does art for a living. See her tweet below;

Vice Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Datti Baba-Ahmed got quite emotional while speaking at a town hall meeting organized by Channels Television last night, over the insults political opponents have hurled at his family, particularly his late father.

Datti revealed that he would have been “a lot happier” if his critics had stopped at him alone. According to him, the insults have been hurled at him and his family members because he has done a lot to combat false narratives about him and the party’s standard bearer, Peter Obi.
He said;
“When I joined the ticket, I impeached certain lies against him and I saw they were heading towards that. Particularly my good friend on the APC side, on the same level.
“When people think they have money, they have power, and the sitting authority is theirs, there’s no limit. Someone has to tap them on the shoulder. I did it and I pointed a finger. You do it again – do one, I’ll do three. You know I’m capable of doing it.

“They’ve stopped. However, me and my family have been paying a huge price for my attempts to rescue Nigeria. They sent all sorts of people after me.
“But the thing that I was able to sort [out] with the [opposing] presidential and vice presidential candidate, I ended up suffering on a much lesser level.
“Thirty-five years ago, at least, our dad of blessed memory passed away. No one ever insulted him until I joined elections for presidency. This is not fair. It doesn’t happen anywhere in the world.
“You don’t insult people’s parents or their families. It’s a huge price for anyone to pay.”

Baba-Ahmed then fought back tears before momentarily excusing himself to step out of the hall, presumably to regain his composure.
He soon after returned to his seat to carry on with discussions of his and his principal’s plans.

A young lady has revealed that her family has never known lack since her dad, who doesn’t do any paid work, was called into the ministry.
The lady shared this on the micro-blogging platform, Twitter.

According to her, things changed for the better for her family after her dad was called to serve in the Lord’s vineyard.
He was able to sponsor his four kids’ education as a minister even though he had no job that gave him renumeration.
She wrote:
” My Dad doesn’t earn a salary. He doesn’t do any paying work. God called Him into a ministry and told him, “I will be your employer” and we’ve not known lack till today. He sponsors our education (4 of us). We live in a very comfortable house, we always have all we need too.
I think about all the amazing amazing things that works for my Dad and I just conclude that this is God. I don’t know but I also know there’s a special grace over this man’s life, a convenat. There’s almost no one he doesn’t know. I mean all the big men.”
