Few hours after police announce arresting face behind Gistlover blog, Oba reacts, mocks police

A few hours ago, the Nigerian police paraded three detained men supposedly the face behind the popular Instagram blog, Gistlover. According to reports, the police arrested these suspects while acting on a petition filed by Hon and Doctor Mrs. Seye Oladejo has detained three people in connection with a case of conspiracy, cyberstalking, and endangering one’s life. According to a statement issued by the Nigeria Police Force’s spokesperson, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the accused is Adebukola Kolapo Nnedum. Micheal Somtomchukwu and Isaac Akpokighe are members of the Gistlover family, a syndicate responsible for the daily operation of the Gistlover blog, a microblogging platform known for “Cyberstalking, incitement, Blackmail, and sundry, which has over the years been a course for public outcry.” However, a few hours after the supposed arrest of Gistlover, the real face behind the blog has taken to his page to mock the Nigerian police for parading fake people are operators of his page.

The National Cybercrime Center of the Nigeria Police Force has made arrest of Gistlover Blog owner and members following a petition lodged by Honorable and Doctor Mrs. Seye Oladejo. According to Linda Ikeji Blog, these arrests are connected to a case involving Conspiracy, Cyberstalking, and Threats to life.

As per ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the police force’s spokesperson, the apprehended individuals—Adebukola Kolapo, Nnedum Micheal Somtomchukwu, and Isaac Akpokighe—are allegedly part of a syndicate known as Gistlover family. This syndicate reportedly operates the Gistlover blog, a microblogging platform infamous for engaging in Cyberstalking, incitement, Blackmail, and other illicit activities that have sparked public concern over time. The statement issued by the police revealed that upon interrogation, the suspects confessed to their varying levels of involvement in the said conspiracy, aligning with the substantial evidence already on hand. Adebukola Kolapo, alias Omo oba Gistlover, purportedly played a significant role in creating over 80 percent of the Gistlover pages, effectively providing his digital footprint for the commission of these criminal acts.

Operators of Gistlovers. source: google Allegedly being on the payroll of the platform and receiving perks like cars and monetary incentives, Adebukola’s responsibilities extended to scouting, editing, captioning contents, and specifically targeting the complainant, Hon. and Dr. Mrs. Oluseyi Oladejo, with cyberstalking posts. Moreover, Adebukola has been accused of aiding in the laundering of funds acquired through these illegal schemes using various means. Furthermore, digital forensic analysis led to the discovery of eight Gistlover pages, all reportedly created by Adebukola at the direction of the syndicate’s head, along with wallet addresses linked to the money laundering activities.

Kemi Olunloyo unveils Tonto Dikeh and Iyabo Ojo as Gistlover

Controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has unveiled the masterminds of the famous blog, Gistlover to be actresses, Tonto Dikeh and Iyabo Ojo. Without a doubt, Gistlover is desired by Nollywood actors and other entertainers for constantly disclosing their personal information to the public on social media.

Kemi Olunloyo, who posted a number of pictures on Instagram, stated that she received confirmation from an IRT police officer that Iyabo Ojo and Tonto Dikeh are Gistlover.

She added that a few months ago, in connection with a widely publicised Nnamdi case, they had defamed and blackmailed a female officer.

In a lengthy post, she wrote: “#BREAKING Gistlover has now been confirmed to me by an IRT @PoliceNG officer as Iyabo Ojo and Tonto Dikeh. I’m going to finish my investigation on Anambra RSS. They blackmailed and defamed the female officer and Nnamdi stole N40M from the victim paying Gistlover N15M to publish all the grim footage and pictures. The victim never died or organ trafficked. Nnamdi just dipped into his dollar account and fled to Republic of Benin 🇧🇯 where he was captured by Interpol. I am begging IGP Egbetokun as journalist to release the results of the investigation that IGP Alkali started. Those officers must be vindicated especially in the military angle of the case where Gloria Matthew and Linus Audu, an army couple were tortured and beheaded in Imo state by Brain Jotter’s cousin natural born killer Precious Ihedimbu and her IPOB friends. She disappeared because the army reportedly deleted her and not the Anambra RSS. Iyabo and Tonto fielded this wrong information to Nigerians. Using reverse psychology the police even thought that Nnamdi owned Gistlover. I have over 30 documents on this case. Nothing wrong with owning an anonymous blog but when you use it to push out false information and destroy lives and careers, the police needs to interogate you. Instagram has been helpful in this case disclosing the phone numbers that opened then numerous accounts particularly the verified one with 1.2 M deleted for posting that female cop’s personal information. Popular actress, Nkechi Blessing ridicules controversial blogger, Gistlover as she exposes how the blogger was scammed of 2.5 million naira. The movie star took to her Instagram page to reveal that the faceless blogger was scammed of 2.5 million naira.

She revealed that Gistlover had allegedly lied that it was Mark Zuckerberg that was responsible for the verification, and had even thrown a party to celebrate. However, sometime later, Gistlover’s Instagram verification badge and that of others were yanked off. Nkechi wrote: “You paid 2.5m to SM Fixers,entered people DM to advertise for SM fixers,na you still throw party for verification me Dey find clout? You Dey whyne abi? No be you police Dey call from panti since oooo…I made video like everyone else did when my page came back,I paid 1.2million to get my page back,you think say you sabi talk? “Gistlover will be my scapegoat the day he ever shows his face”

Popular Nollywood actress, Angela Okorie has spoken on what she plans to do to the controversial blogger, Gistlover.
The mother of one in an Instagram post asked why the faceless blogger derives so much joy in bringing people down. She went on to question the kind of journalism that’s being practiced by Gistlover.

According to her, Gistlover’s constant operation is an indication that we have a long way to go in this country, Nigeria.
The actress cum musician ended by stating that the day he shows his face, he will be her scapegoat.
This comes after the faceless blogger dragged her alongside a host of other actresses for allegedly sleeping with Apostle Johnson Suleman
