A video which shows one of the Happie Boys smoking in Cyprus has sparked mixed reactions on social media. You may recall that the former security guards who had adopted the name Happie Boys had been been sent to Cyprus by Apostle Chibuzor after being sacked by Chicken Republic in March 2022.

However, one year later, they had called out their benefactor for reportedly abandoning them in the foreign country. It was gathered by some sources that the boys, along with their manager, had failed most of their classes and they had been living extravagantly. One video had shown how they student regularly turned up for their examinations wearing inappropriate attires.

A Nigerian man has shared a rare video showing how Happie Boys turn up to school every day in their ‘agbadas’. The Twitter user identified as @9jatowncrier posted a clip of the boys rocking a full native agbada attire while arriving at their class in grand style. While many netizens slammed the boys for putting up an extra flamboyant lifestyle at another man’s expense, others advised the OPM pastor to forget about them. In a leaked WhatsApp conversation, and Nigerian man living in Cyprus has exposed Happie Boys and everything they have been doing in Cyprus. The young man shared unheard details about how the Boys lived their lives in the European country.

Nigerian highlife musician, Frank Ifeanyi Dons, known as Anyidons, had posted his chat with Ichakanations after reaching out to him to get information about the boys. This is coming amid Happie Boys’ clash with Omega Power Ministries (OPM)’s Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere. Anyidons said he was shocked by his findings. In the leaked chat, Ichakanations tagged Happie Boys as ungrateful and shared how they lived a lavish lifestyle. He claimed that Happie Boys smoke and drink in the open and even in the church despite being warned severally by Apostle Chibuzor to desist from such evil to no avail. Ichakanations added that Happie Boys move about with different girls and buy expensive clothes and shoes just to show off. His revelation about the boys stirred massive reactions online, as many found the allegations hard to believe. Ichakanations said he was also a beneficiary of OPM’s Cyprus scholarship. “They did a very big mistake calling out the pastor. I know people that are on scholarships that work to support their families. They want everything on a platter”, he wrote.

Popular clergyman, Apostle Chibuzor has booked a return flight for Happie Boys after they insisted on staying back in Cyprus. Recall that the former Chicken Republic security guards had been sponsored to Cyprus on a scholarship, along with their manager, Caleb by Apostle Chibuzor.

The clergyman had revealed then that they would be returning to Nigeria to continue their lives here. The Happie Boys, Matthew Precious Kelechi and Amakor Johnson, in response, stated that they won’t be returning to Nigeria as they apologized to the OPM pastor for calling him out.

Apostle Chibuzor has snubbed their refusal to return and has revealed that a flight has been arranged for them to return to Nigeria on the 17th of June, 2023. Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, a prominent clergyman based in Port Harcourt, has finally addressed the allegations made against him by former security guards, Happie Boys. The viral duo, Matthew Precious Kelechi and Amakor Johnson, publicly called out the philanthropist, accusing him of discontinuing their fully funded scholarship and allegedly leaving them without assistance in Cyprus.

He revealed that he had paused the funding of their scholarship due to the increased dollar rate, which had placed a significant financial burden on him.

Apostle Chibuzor clarified that the scholarship halt affected other students as well, and he had communicated the situation to their parents. He offered them the alternative of allowing their children to continue their studies at any university in Nigeria or Benin Republic, considering the financial constraints he faced. Despite the manner in which Happie Boys handled the situation, Apostle Chibuzor expressed his forgiveness towards them. He expressed his willingness to restore their scholarship at any university in Nigeria or Benin Republic. Additionally, he assured that necessary arrangements were being made for the duo to return to Nigeria. He wrote; “I also communicated to every parent and gave them options either to return to Nigeria and continue their studies or go to Benin Republic. Now, because of God and as a father, I have decided to forgive Happie Boys for whatever they posted against me and the church. On this note, I have decided to restore their scholarship to continue in any university in Nigeria or Benin Republic. Well-known social media influencer and activist, Lucky Udu has revealed why Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere stopped sponsoring Happie Boys in school. According to Lucky Udu, he reached out to the founder of Omega Power Ministries’ General Overseer, Apostle Chibuzor to find out his reasons for halting his sponsorship.

He said the man of God asked the Happie Boys to return to Nigeria or Ghana to continue their education but they refused. He wrote: “I just spoke to the OPM pastor and he said that when the dollar went up, things became difficult and he couldn’t sustain them, he advised them to return to a Nigerian university or he sends them to Ghana or benin republic to continue their education. The burden became too much to bear but they didn’t understand nor listen.” “That man has too many responsibilities. Over 4000 students abroad.
