We did not raid Tinubu’s home — EFCC debunks N400bn recovery

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) debunks the allegations of conducting a raid and recovering N400bn at the residence of Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

In a statement issued on Sunday in Abuja, EFCC spokesperson Wilson Uwujaren declared that the commission did not raid the home of the former Lagos State governor while dismissing the claims as false. “The attention of the EFCC has been drawn to a report circulating on the social media, claiming that operatives of the commission raided the home of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, standard-bearer of APC, in the forthcoming presidential election and recovered a humongous sum of N400 billion. “The Commission wishes to state that no such operation was carried out by the EFCC. The public is enjoined to disregard the report as fake news,” he said.

Big Brother Naija alumni, Bella Okagbu has silenced cybernauts who have expressed their doubts about her cooking prowess.

The business owner, who is also fondly called Mrs. Ikoyi took to the micro-blogging platform, Twitter, where she penned a piece of her mind. According to Bella, cooking has never been a problem for her, as she is a “good cook”. Bella, however, says she does not enjoy cooking. Bella adds that she is all about the “soft life” and this is why she works hard to be able to afford such a lifestyle.

Taking to Twitter, Bella notes: “Any small thing, Bella can’t cook, Bella learn how to cook, Bella cooking keeps a home blah blah blah. I really don’t know where you guys got this. I’m a good cook that just doesn’t like cooking. As long as the people that should complain, don’t mind. Please spare me the yarns. Cooking does not keep a home. You that have been cooking, Howfar? I’m all about soft life, I don’t like stress or see the need to stress. I work so hard to be able to make life easier for myself. A video making rounds of social media captured the moment a wife walked in on her husband with another woman in their matrimonial home. She tried to enter the house but was locked out by her husband who attempted to escape the side chick through the balcony of the first floor. The enraged wife pulled a bottle and broke it while threatening to hurt the side chick if she gets hold of her.

A Nigerian man identified as Joshua Wealth on TikTok has shared the shocking moment he got back home to see his little brother ‘in the spirit’. In the video, the little boy was spotted singing praises passionately and playing the piano. His surprised brother said he didn’t know his brother could play the piano.

“I will pray, I will pray, I will pray. If I don’t pray Satan will make jest of me”, the little boy said. After which, he burst into tongues while still playing the piano.

Man who visited home for Christmas celebration found dead inside his car in Anambra

A 50-year-old Nigerian man identified as Udoka Eze has been reportedly found [email protected] in Anambra State.
Reports gathered that the man had returned to his hometown for Christmas and was found [email protected] in Nawfija community in Anambra State.

According to eyewitnesses who gave accounts of the incident, the man was found [email protected] in his red Toyota Camry car along Umunze road today January 4.
A resident confirmed that the man recently returned for Christmas and was killed by unidentified people.
The spokesperson of the state police command, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, also confirmed the incident, adding that the vehicle was found along Umunze road and that the deceased has been taken to the morgue after a doctor pronounced him dead.
“Today 04/1/2023, police recovered an abandoned red Toyota Camry vehicle with reg No AGL 525 GA found along Umunze road.
“Immediate search was conducted in the vehicle, and the lifeless body of a young man with marks of violence and with suspected gunshot injury was found in the car.
“Further inquiries made revealed that the victim is one Mr. Udoka Eze ‘M’ aged 50 yrs from Iyiafor Village, Owerezukala. He was confirmed dead by a doctor when taken to the hospital and the body has been deposited at the morgue. Investigation has since commenced.
“The Command wants to use this opportunity to call on the witnesses of this incident to come forward with information that will assist in the ongoing investigation and patrols have been intensified in the area.”

A Nigerian couple tragically loses their lives in a car accident, while on their way back home from their traditional marriage.

The newlyweds who have been identified as Mr. and Mrs. Akimu had traveled to get traditionally hitched in the bride’s hometown.
Sadly, on their way back home, they got into a fatal car accident that claimed both their lives. The news of their demise was announced via Facebook by a friend of the couple.

Well-known Nollywood actress and producer Toyin Abraham has disclosed that her biggest fear in life is a broken home.

The actress who doubles up as a movie producer made this disclosure while speaking with the Media Room Hub. She disclosed that she cannot imagine herself living without her husband.
According to Toyin Abraham, one of her important prayer points is praying against ‘strange’ women and men who plot to destroy people’s marriages.
“I don’t want to ever lose my marriage. I do not want to ever have a failed marriage. I cannot imagine myself and my husband not living together. I cannot just imagine it.

The singer couldn’t contain his excitement as he shared the good news to his fans and followers on Twitter.

He stated excitedly that he took his parents out of the ‘trenches’ to somewhere better.
Crayon referred to the house as a Christmas gift to himself, as he can now finally go home to see his parents after five years.
He tweeted:
