Davido’s Logistics Manager, Isreal DMW alleges that his estranged wife, Sheila’s parents insisted that he settle them heavily and also buy a smartphone for marrying their daughter a virgin. This comes amidst the back-and-forth public drama between the celebrity couple whose 1-year marriage collapsed unexpectedly.
Taking to his Instagram page, Isreal DMW accused his parent’s wife of demanding millions of naira as payment for the daughter who was married as a virgin. He added that it was imposed on him to share the money sprayed at their wedding with them and also purchase an iPhone 14 Promax worth N1.2 million for their daughter because he married her as a virgin. “The receipt of [N]1m, part of money sprayed at the wedding. Sheila’s parents held my neck to share with them since their daughter is a virgin. They also compelled me to buy her iPhone 14 Promax [N]1.2m, she’s using,” he wrote.
Desmond Elliot has come out to clear the air on the controversial wooden bridge known as the ‘Pako bridge’ he constructed for residents in his constituency. During an interview on TVC’s Your View show. the politician was asked why he fixed his picture on the wooden bridge and toilet he constructed for his constituents in 2020. According to him, in 2020 he visited the residents to console a mother who had lost her 13-year-old daughter in a canal. However, while going to fetch the body of the girl, he realized the wooden bridge was weak and hence replaced it. He disclosed that he donated N800,000 to the community for the bridge and they insisted on putting his picture on the bridge as a way to show their gratitude.
