Doctor advises Nigerians to leave religion as nurse gets deported

A medical doctor has begged Nigerians in the diaspora to separate their religion from their work life after a Nigerian nurse got deported for praying for a sick patient. The doctor, @DrOlufunmilayo, is a popular Nigerian medical influencer who is based in the U.K. Narrating the story on his page, he explained that the nurse who is a carer for elderly people was assigned to care for a patient who was dying. Unfortunately, she was reported for “praying for the client to get better” which led to her sack and deportation from the country. The medical doctor further explained to shocked individuals that it is unethical to impose your religious beliefs on patients. He clarified that as a healthcare professional in the U.K, one is supposed to focus only on the job and if the client brings up religion, you should refer.
