The announcement was made through a tweet by the Guinness World Records on Tuesday, November 14. According to the official statement from the Guinness World Records, Helen’s extraordinary creation spans an impressive 351.28 meters (1,152 ft 5 in), earning her the coveted title.

According GWR report, Helen dedicated an astounding 11 days and invested over two million naira (£2,031; $2,493) in bringing her vision to life. The meticulous process involved constructing the wig’s foundation with wig-cap netting and black fabric, cleverly attached to a bicycle helmet.

Subsequently, Helen completed the hairpiece using 1,000 bundles of hair, 12 cans of hair spray, 35 tubes of hair glue, and an impressive 6,250 hair clips. She claimed there was no justification for her to charge in naira given the hike in fabric prices and the drop in the value of the naira against the US dollar. Reacting to this, Do2dtun stated that Americans charge in dollars and British charge in pounds and not naira. He advised that the designer should charge Nigerians in naira and others in their own currency.
