Ayra had gone to the Nigerian Immigration Service to obtain her passport, but she had no idea what was coming. To her shock, she was asked to take her lashes off. She adds that she would never forgive the passport officials for what they had done to her.

President Muhammadu Buhari has disclosed that after he vacates his seat as president, he will live very far from Abuja.

The current president of Nigeria, President Buhari will vacate his position after the general elections on May 29th, 2023. He has disclosed that he will not be living in the nation’s capital, Abuja.
Revealing the reason for his decision, Prez. Buhari said he doesn’t want anyone creating any problems for him anymore. Adding that he will be living on the border in a place called Daura close to the Niger Republic. According to him, he will feel safe there.
He said, “I have promised a lot of my colleagues that I will try and be as far away as possible from Abuja when I leave office so that nobody can create any problem for me anymore.”
“I will be in Daura, which is on the border with the Niger Republic, and I think in spite of technology, I will be safe enough there”.

The Rivers state government has sealed a campaign office belonging to the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar.

Before the campaign office was sealed, Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers state has been at loggerheads with Atiku Abubakar over the national chairman of the opposition party, Iyorchia Ayu’s stay in office despite his calls for his removal.
Wike’s spokesperson, Kelvin Ebiri told newsmen on Friday, December 23, that they obtained a court order to seal the campaign office which violated an executive order that prohibits the location of campaign offices in residential areas.

“The Rivers state government approached a court which ordered that the place should be sealed up.
“The Rivers state executive order 22 prohibits the location of a political campaign office in a residential area. It was the court that ordered the place to be sealed up.”

Nigerian singer, Peter Okoye has instructed his security guards not to allow anyone without a Permanent Voters Card (PVC) into his house or his office.
This order, he said is also extended to his management team and entourage.

According to him, “it’s time to vote out the bad leaders and take back our country“.
The award-winning singer, who has continued to drum support for former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi’s presidential ambition, wrote: “I have just instructed my security and my management that No one is allowed to visit my house or my office without showing there PVC!
