Bolt driver takes home N70k wig of female passenger who couldn't pay (Audio)

A South African guy recounted his encounter with two female passengers who were attempting to con their way into a free ride.

After learning that the ladies had no desire to pay for the journey, the guy identified on Twitter as @Phislash said that he took one of the ladies’ wigs.
The ladies convinced him somebody had ordered the car for them to go to a party, so he picked the ladies up late that night and drove the ladies to where they wanted to go,

When the finally arrived they said they needed to contact the person who had booked the car so he could come settle the car fare.
The bolt driver became suspicious that the ladies might not want to pay; one of the ladies had exited the car for over 10 mins without returning.
He queried the other lady but was getting to relevant reply so he decided to involve the police in the matter.
Lucky for the bolt driver, a police car was just cruising by at the very moment; stopping them, he explained the situation to them.

The policemen interrogated the lady who then opened up, saying she had no cash on her and she didn’t know who the other lady was.
The officers had asked the lady what she could offer in place of the fare, she said she had nothing; the driver had requested for her wig to cover up the cost.
The lady initially declined, saying that the cost was too much because she had bought it for R2, 500 which is N70k in naira.
The young cab driver wrote:
“Lord your female scammers request us (Bolt).
I drove all the way to Kempton Park from Pretoria delivering a pair of broke girls that think they can scam their way out of paying me.
Ended up taking their wig.”

“Good evening good people of Ceetee nation. I’m a married man without a child yet. Married for 8months. My wife’s dad is late. Before he died, he sold his land to send my wife to school. She’s the first child in a family of 4. He sold the land 2million to a man staying in USA.
That was about 6years ago. My wife’s mum is a witness. After the death of my wife’s dad. My mother in law sold that land again to another man. This time around, she sold it 54million and bought another land near the same location but inside.
Bought the new land 9million and spent the rest of the money. The man in USA came back to develop his land and saw that they’ve fenced his land. He went to my mum in law and she took her to d new land she bought. Claiming that was the land he bought from them. She thought the man won’t notice.
She didn’t know that the man have the c/o. To cut d story short. Court gave her time to refund the 54million or face jail term. My wife is asking me to pay the 54million. She claimed if I don’t do that, it means I don’t love her and she will divorce me.
What my mum in law did is bad and she should face the law. Am I wicked for refusing to pay the money?”

“Don’t envy us, we’re underpaid peacocks” – Gideon Okeke laments poor pay of actors

"Don't envy us, we're underpaid peacocks" – Gideon Okeke laments poor pay of actors

Gideon Okeke, a popular Nollywood actor, has taken to social media to express his dissatisfaction with the country’s underpaying of performers.

Many people are envious of actors and actresses as well as other popular figures, but they are simply poorly paid performers, according to the TV star.
The actor went on a long diatribe in his post, explaining that the money is peanuts, the food is crap, and the working conditions are best compared to servitude, but on red carpet dates, they dress impeccably and overlook the industry’s flaws.
He also blasted awards and red carpets, claiming that they now hand out honors for best-dressed on the red carpet, rather than the film itself, which he believes should be the main focus of the rating.
