Xavi Simons leaves PSV to resign with PSG

Eredivisie club, PSV Eindhoven on Sunday, July 16, announced that Xavi Simons has exited the club to complete a transfer to PSG. Simons came up with a remarkable 22 goals and 12 assists from 48 games in a PSV jersey, helping the Eindhoven giants win the KNVB Beker and Dutch Super Cup. Nineteen of Simons’ strikes came from 34 Eredivisie matches, and he ended the season as the league’s second-highest scorer behind 20-goal FC Utrecht attacker Anastasios Douvikas. PSG inserted a buyback clause in their deal with PSV for Xavi Simons, set at a modest €6m (£5.2m), and have now activated it. PSV said in a statement; “Xavi Simons has departed from the PSV training camp in Austria to complete a transfer to Paris Saint-Germain.”

It is believed that he could still be loaned out for the 2023-24 campaign. Popular journalist, Fabrizio Romano claims that PSG will let Simons leave temporarily if Kylian Mbappe and Neymar both stay at the club this summer, but if one or both leave, he will remain in Paris. PSG are desperate to sell Mbappe amid his refusal to extend his contract beyond the end of next season, but the Frenchman has affirmed that he plans to stay put and will make a decision on his future in 2024. Meanwhile, Chelsea and clubs in Saudi Arabia are thought to be keeping tabs on Neymar’s situation, but PSG are not believed to be actively trying to offload the Brazil international at this moment in time.

Policewoman identified as Corporal Fauzziyah cries out from prison after allegedly being detained for attempting to resign following six years of service in the force. The former officer took to her Twitter page to make the cry for help as she revealed that she’s being kept against her wish in a facility.

According to her, she’s been trying unsuccessfully to resign from the Police since last year but all her letters have never been approved. She revealed that following a recent meeting with her superior on May 24th, she had been detained. Her account reads: “I never saw this coming. I have never thought I’ll be put in detention without interrogation. All I did was try to resign. I have been trying to resign from the Police since last year but my letters were not approved. My boss had called me to show up yesterday 24th of may to meet the Deputy commissioner for an interview. I thought they were finally going to approve my resignation but the only words I heard was that I should be detained to be tried and dismissed. Due to the shock, I couldn’t say anything as the officer led me away. Later, I heard that I should have begged and cried but my lack of reaction worsened the matter. I cried a river after it all dawned on me. I have not taken my clothes and shoes off since yesterday. I can’t even change my sanitary pad. My migraine is throbbing at full speed and my head is about to Explode from exhaustion. My mother has called that she has been advised to come and plead that i will continue working. I have been working for 6 years and I think it is fair to let someone go and aid them to leave if they do not want to stay anymore.

Barcelona are in talks to re-sign Lionel Messi from PSG

Vice President of Barcelona, Rafa Yuste has confirmed that they’ve initiated talks to re-sign Lionel Messi from PSG. Messi is heading toward becoming a free agent as his deal with PSG expires at the end of this season. There’s no offer yet for a contract extension. There have been reports of interest from MLS and the Middle East, but strong professional ties to Camp Nou mean that a stunning retracing of steps could take the 35-year-old back to Catalunya. Confirming that considering re-signing Messi, Yuste said;

“I participated in the negotiations that sadly weren’t successful. I am still frustrated that Leo couldn’t continue playing for this club. If we talk about the Masia academy and youth players, we are talking about Leo. He arrived here when he was 12 years old. Of course, I would love to have him back. I say this personally. But I think many of our supporters would love that too, for everything he would represent if he came back., not only on a sporting, economic and social level, among other issues, but also because I think that all beautiful stories must have a happy ending. Mbappe clearly didn’t want to re-sign at PSG but caved to ‘personal’ pressure

Former Real Madrid star, Jese Rodríguez Ruiz has revealed that French footballer Kylian Mbappe was pressured into re-signing for PSG this summer.

Mbappe was linked to Madrid last year, but a deal wasn’t reached as he re-signed for PSG who offered him more money among other things.
Shedding more light on what happened during an interview with AS, Jese insisted that Mbappe felt personally pressured to play for the French giants.

He said;
“Come on, I was clear about it because he told me. He told me and I tell more people: those of us who spoke Spanish. I think it was more personal than professional pressure. All players make decisions, they can be wrong or accept the decision.
“But the people cannot intervene. For example, the president of France cannot tell you ‘don’t go here, you have to stay. In my opinion, I think he felt more personal than professional pressure to make a decision.”

Lil Nas X ready to resign from the Illum!nati if he doesn’t win Grammys tonight

American rapper, Montero Lamar Hill, known by his stage name Lil Nas X, says he will be resigning from the ‘Illuminati’ if he fails to win Grammy Awards on the night of April 3rd, 2022.
