Lawmaker, Ehie Ogerenye Edison has revealed how a woman in difficult labor gave birth after screaming the name of Governor Wike three times.

Rivers Deputy Speaker, made this disclosure while speaking on Wednesday, January 11, when Wike visited his constituency Ahoada. Recounting the incident, Ehie Edison said; “As of yesterday night, there was a lady in labor. The lady tried but she couldn’t put to bed. They had already prepared the theatre for her to be operated on this morning. But because the nurses knew that you are coming to Ahodia today, they were discussing that ‘our executive governor is coming to Ahodia today; this man likes Ahoada people’. governor wike At the hearing of your name, the woman shouted ‘the God of Nyesom Wike, let me deliver safely’. Three times, the woman mentioned your name; she delivered a bouncing baby boy. Your excellency, that was your name. They came this morning, saying they want to name the boy in your name. The Rivers state government has sealed a campaign office belonging to the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar.

Before the campaign office was sealed, Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers state has been at loggerheads with Atiku Abubakar over the national chairman of the opposition party, Iyorchia Ayu’s stay in office despite his calls for his removal.
Wike’s spokesperson, Kelvin Ebiri told newsmen on Friday, December 23, that they obtained a court order to seal the campaign office which violated an executive order that prohibits the location of campaign offices in residential areas.

“The Rivers state government approached a court which ordered that the place should be sealed up.
“The Rivers state executive order 22 prohibits the location of a political campaign office in a residential area. It was the court that ordered the place to be sealed up.”

Philip Agbe Chukwuemeka, a quack medical doctor who has concealed his true identity for many years was exposed following his arrest in Rivers State.

The embattled young man from Umuhunvosi Village in the Isiala-Ngwa South Local Government Area of Abia State, was arrested by the Rivers State Police Command for purchasing goods using a fake alert.
He had met a lady via Badoo social media platform and travelled from Enugu to Port Harcourt to meet her in person.
Philip met his waterloo after paying for his lodging during their date with fake credit alerts totalling about N111,000.

NTA Road, Port HarcourtHe was subsequently arrested at Mgbuoba NTA Road, Port Harcourt, and transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for investigation and possible prosecution.
During interrogation, the suspect claimed to be a medical doctor working at the Enugu State University Teaching Hospital.
However, investigation revealed that his claim was false as he had dropped out of the University of Nigeria Nsukka in Year 2.
Commissioner of Police in the state, Eboka Friday, called on residents to be careful with strangers they met on social media and be quick in reporting individuals with deceptive tendencies, the spokesperson for the command, DSP Grace Iringe-Koko, said.
