Hotkid calls out show promoter for allegedly using his name to defraud lady, others of over N10m

Nigerian singer, Hotkid has called out a show promoter for allegedly defrauding a lady and others of over N10m while posing to be him. The singer, while sharing a photo of the show promoter, gave him a 24 hours ultimatum to repay the lady and everyone his owing.

Hotkid Fans flooded the singer’s DM afterwards to claim they were also victims of his alleged fraud. Hotkid also claimed he was arrested for money he had no idea about because of the show promoter. On his Instagram story, he wrote: “Wanted! He IS A THIEF! I’m giving you just 24hours to pay up the lady and everyone else you collected money from in my name!!! Why AY won’t perform at my show – Basketmouth

After squashing their 17-year-old beef, veteran comedian Bright Okpocha alias Basketmouth opens up on the reason his colleague AY Makun won’t be performing at his Lagos show this Sunday. It would be recalled that prior to this year, the two big names in the comedy industry hadn’t really been on best of terms. Apparently, their issue dates back to an incident that occurred 17 years ago which caused them to quarrel for over a decade, avoiding and refusing to speak with each other.

Basketmouth. Although Basketmouth had publicly apologized to AY and put an end to their longstanding beef, he revealed that he wont be performing at his event that holds tonight. By way of explanation, he said that AY Makun wouldn’t be performing or making a cameo at the event which is set to hold at the Eko Hotel & Suites, Lagos, because the event is scripted.

I sent him his ticket a few days ago. “I knew a lot of people have been asking, ‘Is he [AY] gonna perform?’ He’s not on the bill. “In actual fact, I don’t have that many comedians on the bill. I know Bovi is introducing me. Senator, Dan The Humorous and Aproko from Abuja are performing. I got a few people from Ghana as well. “AY can’t even make a cameo because my show is already designed. We are recording for TV so it’s a three-hour set. As we speak the guys directing and producing they just came into the country about a few days ago. “And before they even landed, we had already sealed the whole flow of the show. It’s not the kind of show where anybody would just get on stage. It’s not that kind of show. Everything is timed. Precision to perfection.”

A Nigerian man has gone the extra mile of using the traditional juju to ‘tie’ a lady’s photo after she reportedly collected the sum of N27K from him as transport fare, blocked, and refused to come to Abuja. The man shared a video of himself holding a photo of the lady who had scammed him of his cash.

However, she had refused returning his calls and even blocked him from messaging her on Whatsapp. He decided to use juju to tie and lay curses on her. Mohbad’s sister-in-law makes fresh allegations regarding Ikorodu show

Karimot, the sister-in-law of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, widely known as Mohbad, unveils fresh allegations regarding his final moments. She claimed that the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death were complex, involving an encounter with certain individuals connected to the show in Ikorodu.

In a video on her Instagram handle, Karimot asserted that Mohbad had met these individuals at a bar 72 hours before his demise, just before the performance in Ikorodu. Mohbad’s sister-in-law emphasized that Nigerians should scrutinize videos of Mohbad during the Ikorodu show, asserting that his erratic behaviour was not solely influenced by hard drugs. She questioned why there was minimal discussion about the people Mohbad met shortly before his passing.

“I will not keep quiet or be shut up on why they hurriedly buried Mohbad. You are telling me to keep quiet and trying to shut me down. When he died, somebody donated money for them to bury him. “72 hours before he died, Mohbad went to a bar to drink and eat with the same person, and the person who hosted the show in Ikorodu, did the person reach out to Mohbad’s widow? Please, Nigerians should go back to the video of Mohbad on stage and study his behaviour, he was not under the influence of drugs. “Mohbad was sceptical about the show, he was reluctant but said he had to go because he had been paid. I will keep asking why was Mohbad buried. Mothers should rise up and fight for justice, you can’t shut me down, before the show he was at the bar, why is nobody talking about the people he was with?
