The man took to social media to share his testimony, expressing gratitude for his safety in the face of this alarming incident. The shocking footage shared by @zion_cuttie depicted the aftermath of the incident, revealing the collapsed water tank within the confines of his bedroom.

The tank, which seemed to have fallen from a scaffolding structure, landed precisely where his bed was positioned, highlighting the severity of the situation. The video showcased the scattered parts of the tank strewn across the room, with a flooded floor and other affected areas of his apartment visible. Explaining the sequence of events, @zion_cuttie revealed that the water tank had fallen from a scaffolding structure. Scaffolds, commonly constructed with wooden planks and metal poles, are typically used to support and elevate water tanks. Amid the high cost of petrol, a man who entered a truck’s tank to allegedly steal fuel has died. The body of the man was removed by residents from the fuel truck which was parked in a yet-to-be-identified street.

It was gathered that the unknown man had entered the truck’s tank to steal fuel but had somehow gotten stuck. How he had died – whether by drowning or asphyxiation from fuel fume – is at the time of writing, unknown. In the video which surfaced online, onlookers gathered and watched as the lifeless body of the man was pulled out of the tank. One voice among the spectators could be heard wailing and chastising the dead for being greedy for wealth and throwing his life over fuel. Watch the video below:

Lagos police rescues day-old baby dumped in sewage tank

The Lagos State Police Command said it has rescued a day-old baby dumped inside a sewage tank in the state. In a statement released by the police command, the baby was dumped around the Gowon estate area of the state. Posting photos of the baby on its Twitter handle, the command wrote; ‘’A day-old female baby was found in a sewage tank at about 8:30am today. Officers of Gowon Estate Division, upon being alerted, promptly arrived at the scene. The baby was taken for immediate medical attention at a health center and is doing well.‘’

In a similar news, the police also rescued a baby abandoned under a parked bus in the Mile 12 area of the state in June. A spokesperson for the command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, made this known on his verified Twitter handle @benhundeyin. He said the cry of the baby attracted a passer-by, who informed the police. “A Lagosian set out for work at about 4.30 a.m. yesterday (Wednesday) and heard the cry of a baby under a parked bus somewhere in Mile 12, Ketu. “Police officers from Ketu Division, after being alerted, have taken the healthy baby girl into safe custody,” he said.

The car owner, captured in a video, credited a friend for introducing him to the transformative engine modification. According to his account, the conversion process cost his friend approximately N60,000. This modification allows vehicles to efficiently run on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), a distinct fuel type from the widely known Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG). During the demonstration, the vehicle was filled with CNG in less than three minutes, showcasing its rapid refueling capabilities. To the astonishment of onlookers, the cost of refueling the tank amounted to just above N1,800, underscoring the remarkable affordability of this alternative fuel option. Additionally, the car owner confidently asserted that the usage of CNG is safe for the engine. Nollywood star, Charles Inojie has taken to social media to express gratitude to God after escaping getting crushed by a water tank. Sharing a video from the scene of the incident, which was his house, the actor known for comic roles in Nigerian movies narrated how the incident occurred.

Inojie, who revealed that he was sitting outdoors, said the tank fell from its base three minutes after he stood up from the seat he sat on. The tank fell directly on the chair he was sitting on, spilling its content. The actor who wondered if he would have survived the incident, wrote on Instagram;

“Again, God came through for me to the devil’s utter disgrace.”
