In the appointments, he named Ambassador Kunle Adeleke as the State Chief of Protocol (SCOP) to the President. He also appointed former Lagos State Commissioner of Information, Dele Alake as the Presidential Spokesman and Olusegun Dada as Special Adviser, Digital Media.

In another tweet following the inauguration, Aisha referred to the B.A.T as an impostor in reply to a news headline about the US President Joe Biden congratulating the Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan but not Tinubu. “Democracy is not about who was voted in. It is about whether someone was voted in. Erdogan might be a dictator to the rest of the world but he was chosen by his people.
Tinubu on the other hand is an impostor who stole people’s mandate through rigging and violence,” she added.

We’ll do this through budgetary reforms. We’ll use a full range of domestic manufacturing and lessen importation,” Tinubu said in his inaugural address at Eagle Square, Abuja. He emphasized the importance of budgetary reforms to achieve this target, indicating a commitment to prudent fiscal management. On Monday, May 29th 2023, the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, and Vice President-elect, Kashim Shettima, took their oaths of office, officially becoming the President and Vice President of Nigeria, respectively. The responsibility of administering the Oath of Office on Monday was entrusted to the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Kayode Ariwoola.

Having garnered a total of 8,794,726 votes, the candidate representing the All Progressives Congress emerged victorious over his closest competitor, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, who received a total of 6,984,520 votes in the election. Peter Obi of the Labour Party secured the third position with a total of 6,101,533 votes, while Rabiu Kwankwaso of the NNPP came in fourth with 1,496,687 votes.

Bakare said; “Last Wednesday, I was at the Glass House where he (Buhari) has been restricted now because the main house is being renovated. I said I have done that for you. I want you to know that, because of the circumstances of your flying into power on the wings of integrity and incorruptibility, but you’re now passing onto someone who does not have that value. “At any public lecture anywhere, before this mess is cleared off, I will address Asiwaju (Tinubu) as a President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria but I will never call him my president.

We spoke truth to power. “I wasn’t there when they voted, I wasn’t there when they scored (me) zero, but we won that badge of zero and badge of honour.” On if he would accept a nomination to become a Minister, Bakare said; “I am not desperate to be a minister, not at all. I was offered before but I turned it down. My life is not just to take photographs with the president and shake hands. But we will do if it will benefit even one citizen.”
