Anytime he posts his wife I am not sad, because I know she is his wife. If I pursue her who would be taking care of our husband? I can’t take care of him alone, he is our husband. I can’t send her away and besides I am not the first woman to get married to a married man. I am not sad, I am happy that I have him. The single guys can’t even do half of what he is doing for me. God knows that my heart is happy and he would be my husband forever. God wouldn’t ruin his home for him or allow his wife leave cause I can’t take care of him myself. I knew he was married before I entered an affair with him. Online in-laws, what’s your problem that you’re telling me to leave someone’s husband alone? You don’t want me to be depressed but you’re in my comment section saying a lot of things”.

“Sanwo-Olu and his wife had invalid voter cards but were allowed to vote” ― Witness tells tribunal

"Sanwo-Olu and his wife had invalid voter cards but were allowed to vote" ― Witness tells tribunal

As the Lagos State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal continue to admit witnesses, an agent for the Labour Party, Mr Dayo Israel, appeared before the tribunal on Tuesday and gave a shocking revelation that the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and his wife, Ibijoke, had invalid voter cards but were allowed to cast their votes in the March 18 governorship election. GistReel reports that the Labour Party’s candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, is seeking to nullify Sanwo-Olu’s return as Lagos governor.

"Sanwo-Olu and his wife had invalid voter cards but were allowed to vote" ― Witness tells tribunal

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu Israel, who monitored Unit 006, Ward 15, Lagos Island Local Government, provided this testimony as part of the petition filed by Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour. The witness told the court that he observed the card reader indicating that Sanwo-Olu and his wife had invalid cards, yet they were still permitted to vote, which he considered a violation of the Independent National Electoral Commission’s electoral process. “I observed that the card reader showed their cards to be invalid but Sanwo-Olu and his wife were allowed to cast their votes and this is against INEC’s electoral process,” he said Under cross-examination from counsel to INEC, Charles Edosomwan, Israel alleged that he was beaten up by All Progressives Congress supporters on election day. He claimed to have recognised them as APC supporters based on their language and stated that they threatened to beat up voters who did not vote for the APC. He said, “I am not a member of the Labour Party, but I was assigned as an agent. When the APC thugs recognised me as an LP agent, they beat me up. They also said if voters did not vote for APC, they would beat them too.” Israel further described the incident, stating that four individuals attacked him during the casting of votes, but he managed to escape, changed his clothes to disguise himself, and returned to monitor the vote counting. The witness also highlighted cases of multiple voting at the polling unit, noting that INEC officials failed to intervene despite witnessing the irregularities. The hearing on the petition has been adjourned until July 3, when the proceedings will continue.

Man divorces wife 2 days after she fought with his mother over food 'on their wedding day'

A  marriage of only two days has come to an end as the newlywed husband has filed for a divorce, citing his wife’s disrespectful behavior towards his mother. This story was shared by Nigerian zoologist Abdullah A Abdullah, who sought advice from netizens. Man divorces wife 2 days after she fought with his mother over food 'on their wedding day'Man divorces wife 2 days after she fought with his mother over food ‘on their wedding day’ According to Abdullah’s account, the husband’s decision to seek a divorce was triggered by an incident that occurred during their wedding reception. At that time, some guests from the groom’s mother’s side arrived when the available food was running out. The only remaining delicacy was a portion of food that the bride had set aside for her own parents. The mother-in-law approached her daughter-in-law and discreetly requested some of the food to share with the newlyweds, as it seemed unfair for them to have nothing after traveling from afar. However, the bride firmly refused, insisting that the food was meant solely for her parents. Despite the mother-in-law’s pleas, the bride took back the food and poured it into the cooler. This action prompted the mother-in-law to slap her son’s wife, who retaliated in response. Although the husband learned about the altercation, he decided not to create a scene during the wedding reception. However, two days later, he filed for a divorce. Abdullah mentioned that the divorce case is currently ongoing, and despite his mother’s appeals for forgiveness and reconciliation, the husband remains adamant in his decision.
