INEC staff in Surulere Lagos accosted for saying results will only be uploaded at RAC center

INEC staff deployed to PU059 in Surulere, Lagos state has said that they cannot upload the governorship and state house of assembly election results directly from the polling unit.

The lady addressing voters informed them that the results collected won’t be uploaded from the polling unit until they take them to the INEC Registration Area Centre (RAC) where, according to her, the network is. This, however, sparked angry reactions from voters who insisted that they upload the results to iRev immediately after the results were counted to avoid the possibility of the results being changed later on. The Naira note scarcity continues following the redesign of Nigeria’s currency by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). A video making the rounds on social media captured the moment a POS point was scattered over exorbitant charges. The customers accused the POS vendor of being unnecessarily greedy and extorting her fellow Nigerians. She, however, argued that the charges decision was an order from her boss.

Her workspace was scattered as the obviously livid Nigerians blamed her and her boss for being part of the country’s problem. A UK-based man has been accused of traveling miles from his city to meet up with a 13-year-old girl after having allegedly sent her sexually explicit messages.
It was revealed that the man had traveled all the way from Edinburgh to Leeds, UK, to meet the underaged girl when he was confronted.

In a video shared online, the man, in a back and forth argument with another man who filmed him, denied having the intent of coming to sleep with her.
According to the accused, he had only travelled to come surprise the 13-year-old girl on her 14th birthday.
The accuser insisted that he had been having chats with her where he had asked the girl to perform all sorts of lewd acts.

A viral video making the rounds captured moment a motorist pulled out a gun to terrify another motorist as they exchanged words heatedly on the road in Ghana.


The man who was driving recklessly was confronted by another driver which provoked him to pulling out a gun, brandishing it to scare the other driver.
As could be seen in the viral video, the driver holding the gun repeatedly slapped the other driver who made half-hearted attempts to defend himself as he was partially scared of being shot at by the other driver.
Onlookers were too scared to intervene as one of them asked another to phone the police.
