American costume designer, Ruth Carter, has made history as she becomes the first Black woman to win two Oscars.

In 2019, Ruth Carter won her first Oscars award for costume design for her work on Marvel’s “Black Panther”. She has also been recognized for the film’s sequel, “Wakanda Forever.” While giving her acceptance speech, Ruth Carter expressed her gratitude to director Ryan Coogler and asked late “Black Panther” star Chadwick Boseman to look after her own mother, who recently died at 101. She said; “Nice to see you again,” Carter said as she took the stage. “Thank you to the Academy for recognizing the superhero that is a Black woman. She endures, she loves, and she overcomes, she is every woman in this film. She is my mother. This past week, Mable Carter became an ancestor. This film prepared me for this moment. Chadwick, please take care of Mom. Ryan Coogler, and Nate Moore, thank you both for your vision. Together, we are reshaping how culture is represented. The Marvel family, Kevin Feige, Victoria Alonso, Louis D’Esposito, and their arsenal of genius thank you. Popular skit maker and musician, Carter Efe, survives a car accident five days after purchasing a new Mercedes Benz SUV.

The singer who recently had a clash with Yhemolee took to Instagram to share his experience after involvement in an accident. In a now-deleted Instastory, Carter Efe crashed his Mercedes Benz five days after splashing millions of naira to acquire the SUV. “5 days after I buy my car dem wan kill me but God pass them,” he wrote while sharing the video of the accident.

Popular singer and socialite, YhemoLee claps back at Carter Efe after being dragged for looking down on skit-makers.

Recall that Carter Efe had earlier lambasted YhemoLee for claiming that he makes more than skit makers earn from seven videos in one night. Carter Efe lashed out at him for trivializing their work and looking down on them. He had claimed to have made 50,000 dollars from making seven videos.

Replying Carter Efe, showed a snapshot of a sheet detailing the amount (about 7.1 million) he makes as commission from a night club. According to him, the amount is way more than Carter makes in six months from endorsement. Blowing hot at this, Carter Efe queried to know what the singer does exactly at night; he wondered whether YhemoLee is a thief.
